Outstanding quality and execution. Not your typical sushi as this is Peruvian-style. Best in Long Beach.

The fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors caught our attention, so my daughter and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the dishes we ordered didn't have the kick and flavor profiles we hoped for. Overpriced for what we received. We ended up walking to another Japanese restaurant to fulfill our taste buds. Very friendly service!

This is the BEST sushi in southern CA. I’ve been coming here for the past 8 months and have never had a bad or average piece of fish. If you come here, I recommend trying multiple tiradito plates, the nigiri is amazing (Aburi Salmon, Chutoro, and Yellowtail are a few of my favorites), quality roll as well (Dusty Roll, Salmon Lime, and the new Tuna Spicy). The service is always exceptional [shoutout to Danny and Edgar our two favorites].

Food was superb. Best sushi I’ve had and I am a sushi type of girl. Will definitely recommend and visit again. Want to try other location as well.

Came to Sushi Nekkei last Saturday for the first time to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. We ordered a lot and everything was delicious! We’re already making plans to go back. The three things I would recommend are the Aburi Tuna & Yellotail Belly Sushi, and the Asian Shiromi. We didn’t get to try the ceviche but that’s definitely on my list for next time!

Always an amazing experience. We have the server/chef choose all our food for us and we’ve never been disappointed.

Second visit and the food was even better this time around! My first visit was when they first initially opened, and I have to say that they have only gotten better!
