Sushi Kai prides itself on offering a daily tasting menu, highlighting fresh and seasonal ingredients right in the heart of Fort Lee, NJ. Have a seat at our sushi counter and let our chef’s showcase their passion for a memorable omakase experience.

Our Omakase experience is $155/person. This will include a multi course seasonal tasting menu, including appetizers, sashimi, nigiri and dessert. Seating's are strictly 2 hours with seating at the bar only.

Please note we do have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations made within that timeframe are subject to a $155.00 per person fee. This is non-refundable & non-negotiable.

Please be aware we do allow BYOB of all types of alcohol with no corkage fee.

Been here a few times, and it is one of the best sushi experiences I have ever had. For the price, you get a ton of courses from a rotating menu. Service is always to notch, super friendly, and the sushi chefs are super knowledgeable, don't be shy about anything and ask any questions you have. The food is fantastic, I always say this place ruined sushi for me, because it is hard to walk into another spot and get quality that is even half of what you get here ! Also, it is BYOB!

It was a pleasant experience. Chef, receptionist and waiter were all smiles and professional. The place was clean and we all felt comfortable. Food was delicious and the presentation was just spot on.

I had the most delightful experience at Sushi Kai. The food was outstanding, every single piece took me by surprise! I have never had anything like it. It is clean, intimate, and the perfect spot for some authentic omakase. I cannot wait to come back!

New creations by Chef I have never seen or tasted. Nice crowd at the bar Owner, Garry is very hospitable. Look forward to dining at his Marlborough restaurant.

Uni heavenly bowl is gone from my last visit in December 2022. It was the best one. Japanese beef with uni is offer by other omakase but not this one with similar pricing in NYC. Suggest to be more competitive.

Overall experience at Sushi Kai was great. I brought my girlfriend with me and the experience for the both of us was amazing. From greeting us at the front door to taking us to our table, the hostess made sure we were comfortable. Additionally, our server was great at providing us with what we need and filling up our glasses with sake if we needed more. The chefs making the omakase were very nice and friendly, and would have small conversations with us while making omakase. They were very knowledgeable on the different types of sushi they were making as they serve it to us. Ambience was great and the experience was great. This is by far my top omakase place to go to and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Omakase for the first time.
