Depuis plus de 28 ans, le Sushi Den est considéré comme l'un des meilleurs restaurants de sushi et japonais des États-Unis. Le master chef Toshi Kizaki, le visionnaire derrière le Sushi Den, relève constamment la barre et établit la norme du restaurant pour garder une cuisine de haute qualité. Le plus jeune frère, Koichi Kizaki, vit dans le sud du Japon où il fait des voyages quotidiens sur le marché du poisson pour acheter le poisson du restaurant. Le poisson est ensuite gelé à sec et le restaurant le reçoit dans les 24 heures. Exceptional quality on all items ordered - soft shell crab, hamachi, smoked trout (all sushi) and a small tempura platter The green tea dusted tiramisu had the green tea dust overpower the tiramisu. I think the kitchen needs to tone down the green tea dust a lot or eliminate. It should complement the tiramisu flavor and not overpower it

Wonderful anniversary dinner from the delicious cocktails to the fresh catch specials. Banana cream pie and chocolate mousse cake finished off our perfect meal. The attention from our waiter was spot on and his recommendations were delicious and appreciated.

So happy that the Sushi Den is back open for lunch. It's been my favorite restaurant in Denver since 1987. Five of us friends, gathered for lunch Friday, yesterday, And enjoyed all kinds of fresh sushi, sushi rolls and bento box lunches. Excellent and delicious! Highly recommend, cheers! Jan

As usual the food and service were amazing. However, the noise level in the front room was too loud for comfort. Next time I'll ask to be seated in the room towards the back that seemed quieter.

The waiter has some attitude issue (an Asian with a mask). He never smiled, never voluntarily came to check on us. I had to raise hand for him to add water. What a bad image for the restaurant!

This was the first time we had been back to Sushi Den since the pandemic. Needleless to say, we were very excited. That said, the waitress didn't seem to understand the menu. The Bento Box description didn't list a salad, which previously was included. When asked about it she said it was not part of the Bento Box anymore. Therefore, I ordered a side salad. I also asked if the roll selection included a California Roll or Tuna Roll, like previously. She said they did that at dinner but, at lunch, only the California Roll was included. I have no idea if this was correct, but it seemed strange. We also ordered a California Roll as an appetizer. The salmon in my order was way over-cooked, almost inedible, a salad was included in the Box, and the appetizer arrived a third of the way through the meal.
