The service is amazing. The rolls were a little salty. Might be using high sodium sauces. The fish all seemed very fresh. The spicy tuna is delicious. My husband and I have a hard time eating a lot so we don’t feel like we got our moneys worth for the amount we ate. If you are a big eater, it would be worth it but hard for most I’m sure. The sake fresh tastes like gasoline. Not sure what the brand is but we won’t be getting that again. :)

Great little place, terrific food and a cool atmosphere. Can definitely be marked in the hidden gem category.

The place was packed, but the servers, hostess and cooks did a great job preparing and bringing out the food in a timely matter and had great customer service. The food was worth the price 45$ AYCE. And the drinks like the lychee martini and grapefruit soju taste great with the sushi ! Great for a date night.

Took an hour to be seated despite having a reservation. Terrible rice quality, fine fish quality, couldn’t finish the salmon lover roll because it turned to glue in your mouth. Not worth it

My wife and I have been coming to this place for a couple of years now, and we never leave unsatisfied. They have the best rolls in OC!

Food is always amazing, staff is super nice to us, and the chefs work fast to get you your food. They also helped us by getting us a bigger table for our son in his car seat which was nice.

I’ve been to Sushi Damu several times. On this visit I brought my girlfriend. I had booked a table on Friday night, 7:15 pm. We showed up at 7:25 and were seated in less than 5 minutes. Very impressive. In the past I’ve had to wait a considerable amount of time. The 🍣 as always was fresh and delicious; however, service was very slow. Also, they forgot 3 of our rolls from 1st round. Had to remind them as it was almost 9 pm and we were preparing to leave. Then we waited another 15 minutes for them to be brought out. Maybe they were having an off night. Usually service is on point. We will definitely be back!
