Sushi | Bar is an intimate Omakase that serves up a whimsy of its namesake fare in 17 courses. Behind our door lies an intimate counter housing 10 prized seats where you will sit right up to the chef’s cutting boards. Relax and enjoy as the chefs prepare a playful reverie on modern nigiri in a free form interpretive take on the traditional sushi counter experience where you can enjoy unexpected riffs on beloved standards. $159 per person is the menu price. You may add supplements, bites or beverage during your experience if you wish. This is a set menu and most dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. Tax and Service Charge are not included.

This is a world class omakase experience, from the high quality ingredients to the thoughtful combination of flavors. Additionally, the sushi chefs are personable and willing to answer any questions. Having been to more than half of the omakase experiences currently available in Austin, I can say that this was my favorite so far.

Any sushi you have after this place will be a disappointment. That is all I have to say.

Good omakase experience but not the best I’ve had. Service was stealth. Quality of fish was great as expected for reputation and price. Felt rushed out though at the end. I know 2 seatings but we were still drinking our sake and couple next to us finishing their wine pairing. Although offer to hang around in the lounge area, all seats occupied by next set of guests. Spacing our the seatings maybe by another 30 mins could be wise.
