Welcome to Surf Restaurant, we are located in the Woburn Village.
Everyday our team of chefs work with our seafood buyers to source the best quality seafood. Our standards of excellence start with the selection of the top of the catch each day. We go to such lengths to secure the freshest seafood for one reason – our high standards of excellence demand that every ingredient we use is the best. Although we can tell you how fresh our seafood is, the only way to really know is to taste it.
At Surf you will find New England classics like fish & chips, NE clam chowder, steamed lobster. You will also find chef driven seafood dishes such as Lobster Kristina in a brandy cream sauce, miso marinated salmon, sesame seared tuna and fried tomato bacon salad.
Surf Woburn is a contemporary open restaurant with a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a meal with friends and family as well as a business meal with welcoming hospitality.

We made a reservation and showed up on time. Table wasn’t ready and had to wait… Ended up grabbing bar seats outside. Service was terrible. Wasn’t too busy but all bar staff seemed mad. Not one smile in the whole building. We finally ordered fish tacos and a sushi roll. Fish was OK and roll was good.

I took my wife and 2 young children for Mother’s Day. The food was fantastic and our waiter Paul was awesome! The kids got kids meals and my wife got the roasted haddock. Said it was top 5 meals ever! I got the Au Poivre Crusted tuna. That was good too. Our second time going to the Woburn location. We also went to the Portsmouth location which led us to Woburn as its much closer. I have a feeling we’re going back for fathers day as well! Hats off to Surf and the other establishments. Buckley’s is also a great steakhouse. Havent had a meal less than fantastic so far!

We went for the Mothers Day brunch and everything from the bloody Mary’s to the herbed doughnuts to the crab cake Benedict, was visually and tastefully delicious.

Mostly indistinguishable from Legal Seafoods, Earl’s, or any other place serving a similar menu in a noisy setting with TVs on the walls.

Our second time here. Food was really good. Great value. Our server, Owen, was great. We did run into one problem. We ordered a special desser, key lime pie ice cream. It came out once and it was vanilla ice cream. We told them. It came a 2nd time and again vanilla ice cream. The third time it came, it was finally key lime pie ice cream, and it was delivered by the manager. He told us it was labeled incorrectly in back. They did not charge us for our dessert(s) 😬. We will be back.

Benjamin, our server, was wonderfully attentive and helpful. The restaurant was extraordinarily busy, so we waited quite a while for the food. But it was all delicious and we enjoyed the experience very much.

Great menu. Food was delicious ! Waitstaff was attentive and nice. Will definitely visit again ! Parking in the Woburn area is tough. There’s a lot of storefronts sharing the lot.

The wait was not long at all and we were seated at a table with plenty of space. It was not too closely occupied and felt comfortable from the start. The drink offering was great and so were the small plate/app selections. We tried the roasted brie and bacon oysters with garlic crumbs. They were absolutely delicious! For the entree, we got the Baked New England Trio and it could not have been more delicious. Served hot and everything tasted so good! We will be going back more and I look forward to trying more and more.

The drink are superb. The mussels were excellent, but it would be better to replace a small amount of linguica with more mussels. The small plates were excellent and definitely had to have lobster fries again. My wife and daughter had the sushi rolls, which were excellent. The Portuguese stew was delicious. A bit expensive, but overall very good.

The tall cakes and choc mousse cake are phenomenal! Loved the lavender cocktail!! The baked seafood is so fresh and love the Cole slaw and asparagus! Great service!! Someone knows how to run a restaurant well!!!

Food was Great until the Fried Clams came out, and they were Small and Hard as a Rock. We sent them back. I called before I came to Dinner and asked for a piece of Cake with Candle be sent to our table for a 60th Birthday...Cake never showed up...

Service was excellent! We were hoping for broiled scallops but the only option was Korean BBQ Scallops. Fish & Chips were pretty good although the French fries seemed a bit undercooked. The presentation of the Portuguese Seafood Stew was great but the broth seemed almost boiling hot and a bit bland.

Made 7:45 dinner reservations after standing outside at our sons soccer tryouts to end up being sat on their seasonal patio without the heaters on. Lobster was tough in the “Lobster Kristina” and Cabernet list is short…(3) options.

We love Surf! This was our first time there for brunch. And we did Easter brunch there. We both had the crab cake Benedict, and it was amazing! SO delicious!!

Truly delicious, we were early for our reservation, hostess went to got us a drink from the bar, so good, the sushi was amazing, mussels incredible baked haddock was out of this world. We will definitely be back very soon!

For appetizers we split clam chowder and salad … very generous portions and delicious. We enjoyed the salmon and baked seafood trio.

We have been to Surf several times and absolutely love it! The servers are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The food is abundant and delicious! My only complaints are that I find the hard chairs a bit uncomfortable and the noise level can be high. Also parking can be a challenge depending on when you go. But that won’t keep me away. I love the clam chowder, tuna sushi, fish tacos and just about everything else I’ve tried there. We will be back!

Wonderful staff and service. Get the Bloody Mary shooter to start. You will not be disappointed. The menu is eclectic and there is something for everyone.

After never having a bad experience, I thought that the quality is declining. We went to celebrate my son’s birthday. Surprisingly no one even gave him a courtesy greeting. My daughter ordered the shrimp tacos which was a soggy mess. We had a big table off to the side and she still found the place noisy.
