Most of the food was nice, one dish was Luke warm rather than hot. We should have ordered some veggies - none of the dishes came with a trace of veggies. The service was excellent. We had a family emergency at the end of the meal and they quickly made our dessert take-away.

We enjoyed a meal at Suq last Saturday night. Our booking was for 6pm which worked very well. The restaurant was quiet between 6-7pm and then became busy. It was lovely to start our meal quietly and then at 7pm to enjoy a busy feel as the restaurant filled with people. The service was excellent and the food was very enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I visited on a Saturday night. The staff, including the chef, were extremely accomodating and pleasant. Every dish was well presented and well cooked. The quality of each ingredient was good, but overall, the menu was strained. We found it difficult to order complimenting dishes and as I had read in a number of reviews, we found that many of the dishes were not well adapted as small serve/tapas/share plates. Another thing we had read and did experience was that the waiters asked 'how was your meal (or plate) too often. My honest opinion is that chef and the kitchen staff are very caring and talented but lack confidence and are trying to please everyone, but in doing so, have not established a forthright menu. It's unfortunate because of the effort, the skill and the care are all present - what's missing is congruency. I would recommend Suq with reservation

Hi Hayden, Thankyou for your feedback. We are not a tapas or small plates restaurant, sometimes other websites add that to their description of us. We are a multi-cuisine share plate restaurant with each dish made for two people to share and enjoy together allowing them to try more. Since opening 4 years ago we've received a great response and consistent 5 star reviews that encourage us to keep creating amazing food. We do appreciate your compliments and positive criticism. Dishes were served at a leisurely pace, allowing us to savour the divine flavours and fascinating combinations. Dishes were sized well so we felt satisfied but not overwhelmed. Beautiful evening!

Suq would have to be one of the best restaurants in and around Terrigal. The food is always superb! If you like delicious small plates to share, then this is for you to try.

Once again, beautiful food, served at perfect timings, attentive staff, professional and outstanding service by the owner and Chef. One of my favourite restaurants on the Central Coast for dining. I will keep coming back for sure. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent meal. Great food and wine with helpful friendly service. We won a voucher for Suq at a silent auction at Terrigal Public School fun fair. Thank you Michael for supporting the local school. This was not our first visit to Suq and it won’t be our last. The food was all delicious but we highly recommend the Malaysian beef curry! Thank you Michael. Lorna M

interesting and varied food, good service ( perhaps we were asked a little too often if everything was satisfactory, twice would have been plenty!). staff were delightful however and food and drinks were delicious

We dined as a couple for an anniversary dinner. The food at Suq is absolutely amazing. The attention to detail, the flavours, and presentation is equal to any restaurant I’ve been in. The service is personal and restaurant ambience is welcoming and comfortable. Portion sizes are excellent and it great value for money for such a high quality meal. We will definitely be dining at Suq again.

This was a mid-week birthday get-together with 7 friends. The restaurant is fully licensed, and located on the Wamberal straight, just before you cross the bridge into Terrigal. It was a cold winters night, but Suq was warm and inviting, with a sleek and modern interior. We had cocktails to start (the Paloma was a winner), and ordered wine by the glass during our meal. We selected several of the smaller plates to share, including the baked goats cheese, Tokyo chicken, arancini, tempura prawns, and the falafel platter. The waitress was happy to adjust the size of the serves, so we all had a chance to sample each dish. Everything was delicious, but the goats cheese and the prawns were outstanding. Service was fast, friendly and very efficient. As we'd subscribed online, there was a 15% discount, and even with drinks the total came to less than $55 per person. Suq also have mid-week special set menu, which might be better for couples or for smaller groups. Fine food on the Central Coast is in short supply, and we are so glad we've now found Suq. We'll be back very soon :)

Food was exceptional, and our waitress was very knowledgeable. We were expecting small servings (given that the restaurant encourages shared dishes), but we servings were more than reasonable. The two of us had difficulty getting through three "entrees" and a single "main", all of which were delicious. In particular we recommend the Japanese style chicken (hope we have that right).

Super impressed with the service! (And the food) The indoor/outdoor dining venue is great. A short walk from Terrigal Beach and a thousand miles from care! (How about the food!) The food is the best! A great dining experience. The people at Suq Restaurant could not be more helpful, they have created a wonderful environment backed up by a very good menu and outstanding service. And the food!

Told that as a table of four we would be served only one plate at a time, as prepared, to be shared by the whole table. The problem was that each plate is designed for two to share. How do you quarter a duck leg? Could not understand why each couple could not order their own selection of plates. Drinks were served promptly for 3 of us but my partner's cocktail took ages and was poorly made. Food was good without being outstanding. In Summary, shared plate concept might work well for couples but certainly did not work well for the four us. A disappointing night overall

The restaurant was alive with energy from the patrons enjoying themselves including my wife and myself. The team was friendly and happy to discuss the food selection. The food was delicious and the service level on the dish delivery was very well timed. We are looking forward to our next visit.
