Ambience was good. Value for price not so much. $125 per person for mediocre food is pretty high. Service was underwhelming. If the food choices and service was good, then it may be worth it.

Don’t make reservations past 2pm for the buffet if you want a favorable dining experience. I brought my mom here on Mother’s Day and it was such a disappointment. Most of the food looked and tasted like it was on its final run of the day. The pasta was dry and cold, the rice cooker for steamed rice was empty …I literally scraped the bottom to get enough for one scoop on my plate. The left over bread pudding was delicious but again, limited with moist portions. I guess we were the final round of customers because we had limited and scarce selections of their popular items. The King crab was gone, I was picking through empty shells that had little to no meat. Prime rib??? Nope, that was unavailable too. Overall, we definitely didn’t receive a memorable culinary feast, especially for the higher price that I paid since it was a holiday. Oh and there was no live entertainment either. We saw a gentleman leaving with his instrument when we arrived so we just missed that part too. Instead, the bass was thumping loudly from the speaker that replaced our live entertainer. I was hoping to treat my mom to a special meal but it was far from being a “Royal Brunch”

We waited in line for 40 minutes and were seated 40 minutes after our reservation. We paid the total price even though the band was packing up when we were seated, so we did not get the promised live music. The staff was average. The man operating the waffle machine was very rude and refused to make fresh waffles. It was a terrible experience overall, but I do NOT recommend it. Also, the crab legs were frozen entirely!!!

I was disappointed by the Sunday brunch on the Queen Mary. Firstly, we had reservations for 2pm. When we arrived at 1:30 were were told we couldn't go to the restaurant yet, which was OK because it gave us a chance to walk around, but when we arrived at the restaurant at 2pm, there was a HUGE line to check in. We had to wait at least half an hour. Why take reservations if they can't honor them? They should have let us stand in the long like at 1:30 so that we could get our table at 2pm as reserved. (There shouldn't have even been a line in the first place since this is an nice brunch that took a reservation, but if this is their system then they need to let people line up earlier.) The brunch is advertised as a "Champagne Brunch" and when you sit down they start pouring champagne. The only problem is they don't tell you that the champagne is an extra $20 per person, and they don't ask if you want it. We did want the champagne and were willing to pay extra for it, but it felt very shady that it was a "hidden" extra expense. The buffet was out of a lot of the basic things, and there was no plan in place to remedy it. They ran out of syrup at the pancake station, cream cheese at the bagel station, etc. When we asked multiple servers everyone said they were out of it and had no idea when/if they'd get more. The seafood was mediocre. The crab legs and oysters were SO water-logged we could squeeze water out of them. They tasted like they'd been sitting in that water for a while too. The whole experience was just very disappointing and seemed like it had a lack of coordination and order. For that price I expect better. I would not come again.

The cost per person was not communicated beforehand. All it says is that” $50 and up. The actual cost was $125 per person! Which does not include bottomless mimosas! That was an additional $19 that no one mentioned until the bill came. I would not recommend unless it’s truly a special occasion. It’s not worth it for it just being a Sunday Brunch.

Years ago, the ship was a magical place to dine combined with nostalgia. In our first visit post COVID-19, it has become an amusement park experience with incredibly overpriced, lower quality food, other guests wearing jean shorts and undershirts, aboard a crumbling ship in which the sea is trying desperately to reclaim. The service was good, but the astronomical price did not justify going. It was more sad than disappointing.

Overall food was cold. 20 percent tip was added on for a party of three. No iced tea. Warm orange juice.

I took my mom for mother’s day. We used to go before it closed for quarantine when it was like $60 per person and included bottomless champagne. The food was good but we were put off by how much more they charge even though the food hasn’t changed $100 is steep and then it was $125 for Mother’s Day. PLUS an extra $20 for mimosas. It’s just too much for what it is.

Such a beautiful place to visit. The music was perfect for the setting. The food was amazing. The commodore made us feel very welcome and even invited us to his table. A little pricey compared to other buffets but well worth it knowing it is going toward preserving this historic vessel.

Food was mediocre and not as hot as it should have been. The presentation is not as good as it once was. Service was lax and not very attentive. I was shorted $21 in change, so I just figured that would be the tip. I understand the cost to put on a brunch of this magnitude, but it really is too pricey for what is offered. If my Mother didn't specifically ask to go to the Queen Mary for brunch, I would have gone elsewhere. On the other hand...if you've never been before, you should try it at least once.

It’s way overpriced for the value of the meal. Food was okay at best but you’re really paying to enter this old ship. The food was worth half the cost at best

THE BAND ROCKED!! The service not so good for the high price you pay for a buffet. They only accept up to 2 credit cards per party, half of us paid with credit and the other half that paid with cash got over charged. The tour was cool specially when the weather is warm.

My sisters and I celebrated my mother's birthday at the Queen Mary with brunch there this past Sunday and we had a blast. The band was great and the servers were very attentive. It's not cheap but definitely a beautiful experience I would recommend to those looking to have an out of the ordinary brunch time. Please note that mimosas are an extra but they kept them coming without us having to wave down a waiter, definitely worth it.

Let's start with the service... Top notch! Fantastic! Attentive! Amazing! The food, some options were good... Sushi, smoked salmon (hard to get that wrong) Brisket had good flavor albeit a little dry. Some food options were very average and some options were down right nasty. The snowcrab legs has an ammonia taste and my dinning partner said the prime rib had a funky taste. So, for a whopping $98 per person and a $19.99 per person champagne charge, this is one spot we will never go to again.

Love this brunch!! They have so many options. The jazz band was great. The service was top notch. Opt out of the champagne. It’s not good and will give you a headache. Beautiful place with so much history.

Immersed in history. Very friendly staff and servers. We both thought the food was fresh and excellently prepared. The live music was outstanding, and the Commodore was knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming to each guest while making rounds at the tables. Hopefully it stays for another 70 years. Highly recommended.

I've been to the Brunch prior to the pandemic. My previous experience was real good which prompted me to take my Daughter for her 21st birthday. Unfortunately, the cost has skyrocketed to $100 per person. Much to my surprise this didn't include any type of alcohol. For this kind of money you'd think the Mimosas would be included with the meal. Granted you do get access to the ship with the purchase of the brunch the food however is very meh. The quality is no better than a typical all you can eat buffet. The ambiance is nice with music and nice decoration but the food just didn't measure up. There's no steak options which I would expect with this type of a prices tag other than the standard prime rib & brisket. No lobster, just the shrimp and crab legs. All in all I wouldn't recommend for the type of money they charge. As a one time event for a special occasion but I would never go back for the buffet with food options & quality coupled with the price.

It’s always nice to visit the Queen Mary but the brunch was disappointing. Lots of different types of food though for the price it was lacking. The oysters did not taste fresh. I look forward to the eggs Benedict every time. Someone changed the recipe and it was not good. The service was very good. They were attentive and courteous. The ambiance is always great. Love the ship. I will be back but not for the brunch. Felt like I didn’t get my moneys worth today.

For a special occasion where you do this brunch once a year(as it's $117 per person) is a bit steep. I don't know anyone who would be able to afford to do this more than once a year.

It's wonderful having the Sunday brunch back on the Queen Mary. I miss the harpist, but they had exceptional live music. The food was excellent and, as before the pandemic, the variety was outstanding. The price has gone up since the last time I had brunch there, but I know it goes toward keeping the ship open and available to the public.

Food was horrible - cold, old, stale, pastries were like rubber along with the ahi tuna and prime rib. Got 1 refill on beverages. Was a regular pre-pandemic, not returning.

Very disappointed in the quality of the food. Mostly everything tasted old not fresh. It’s unfortunate for the amount of money that they charge definitely an experience to do it, but not worth the price.

I miss the days of a good brunch on holidays with my family. While I'm not back home anymore, I thought it might be good to try a historic site, get some ambiance, and have some brunch in long Beach this weekend at the queen mary. What can I say? I wish I read all the reviews (idiot, I am an elite yelper) but opted to see for myself. Please don't go. The only good thing was that the manager must know how bad it is, we didn't have to pay. Meh. Cold cold food all around, and I'm not talking about the cold seafood buffet. Everything is cold. Things weren't seasoned and very bland. Crab dry, pastas bland, meat cold, and over cooked with not all sauce for each. I didn't even venture to have breakfast. I've seen the reviews of that. The queen mary, while beautiful in history and stature, could use some upgrades in places to make it more enjoyable as well as even floors in the miniature room so you don't break an ankle walking around people. The music, well, the singer, was hard to listen to. It was just an unpleasant experience where we left in search of food. Price is way overpriced for the food and experience. They should just give some free drinks for the cost, but they're watered down anyway. If someone finds me an amazing brunch, please ping me. Steer clear of here.
