Sunda New Asian is an award-winning restaurant at the vanguard of America’s New Asian movement showcasing Eastern Asian and Southeast Asian regional cuisine. Simple, flavorful dishes are served and shared while a full sushi bar provides an assortment of sushi, sashimi and nigiri options. By seamlessly melding many of the cooking techniques and flavors found throughout the entirety of Asia, Sunda creates a menu that allows customers to choose the dining experience they desire. Sunda’s extensive cross-cultural Asian menu spans many cultures and price points. Sunda also provides a progressive list of premium sakes, an assembly of Asian beers and a well-rounded list of champagnes, sparkling wines, white wines and red wines to complement the cuisine.

Enjoy the Tour of Sunda Prix-Fixe Menu for your large group booking! Each course will be served family-style (sharing) so everyone get to enjoy all of Sunda Signature dishes. $98/person (tax & service charge has been included). Course 1 Edamame, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Tiger Shrimp Tempura Course 2 Spicy "Tail of Two Tunas", Panda, Island Maki Course 3 New York Strip Steak, Szechuan Chicken, Miso Cauliflower, Jasmine Rice Course 4 Mochi Ice Cream *Beverages will be added to final bill at the end of the dinner along with ala carte added items, additional added guests plus 20% service charge & tax. This booking reserved counter height communal tables for 2 hours for your party. Overtime based on availability +$40/person per hour.

Gracie was awesome. Bao Buns are a must have. Interior was inviting.

The music was way too loud for a 6pm dining experience. It sounded like a nightclub or lounge and I could barely hear my date. We were both yelling over the music trying to talk to each other. Just a poor ambience to set for what should be a fine dining experience for the prices they are charging. The food was good but the music was so jarringly loud that it wasn’t enjoyable

We had Chase as our server and he was amazing. Very helpful with the menu and provided topknot server. Would recommend him to anyone and plan on going again.

Really good for the most part. A bit of a wait even though we had a reservation. Had to stand because there isn’t much of a lobby or seating to wait. Once we sat down our server greeted us immediately. Sarah was very sweet, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend the tuna truffle pizza (delicious!), red dragon sushi roll, and salmon tartar were stand outs. The lemon grass beef kabob app was pretty dry and boring. The tempura shrimp were good but a bit sweet and basic. The drinks were good too. Would go back!

Amazing service, amazing food amazing drinks. I would definitely return. My favorite was the shrimp with the walnuts appetizer. And my daughter loved the sushi with the ghost pepper.

The music is way too loud so you have to scream at the person sitting across from you The table where we were buffet type holding area that had all kinds of utensils and dishes, so between the loud music noise and the clatter of doors, opening and closing and dishes and glasses clinking, it was such an unpleasant experience. The food is completely overpriced… You can definitely get better sushi, better Thai , and better Asian at other venues in Tampa. I will not be going back.

Enjoyed Mother’s Day brunch here. It was my first time at Sunda and it did not disappoint one bit. Wow, extraordinary food selection. Excellent service! Beautiful atmosphere! The food was absolutely delicious, I’m so glad we attended this brunch. I will definitely be back. Thank you Sunda and staff for putting together this special event honoring Mom’s.

Brunch was overpriced for the foods served. It was continental style with sushi but the quality just was not there. I expected some of Sunda's regular menu items for the mother's day event at the price of $99 per person and highly disappointed in what was actually served.
