Inspired by a lifetime of culinary and culturally immersed travel throughout Southeast Asia, our owners developed the Sunda concept to celebrate the beautiful blend of cultures found on the Sunda Shelf, a landmass, today submerged under shallow seas, that was once surrounded by the many different countries and cultures we celebrate at Sunda today like Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, China and more.

At Sunda, we pride ourselves on taking classic, culturally-important dishes from all over this region and modernizing each one by upgrading ingredients, cooking techniques and presentation to create a tasting experience that is completely new while still retaining the deep-rooted spirit of the original.

Guests can also enjoy a beverage program that offers an impressive list of premium sakes, Asian beers, red, white and sparkling wines as well as seasonally inspired cocktails.

Had the duck appetizer which was delicious. The fried cauliflower was also amazing. Service was very good. Noise level was good. Able to carry on a conversation easily. Good venue for a date.

Food was absolutely delicious and our server was very kind and attentive. However, we wished the greeters were friendlier and more welcoming, especially on Mother’s Day.

Food was good and overall ambiance was great. Our server was nice but we felt rushed and he did not check on our table.

So good! Enjoyed dinner with business colleagues. Great service and even better food. Will be hard to match this culinary adventure.

We enjoyed the pork and duck buns, veggie fried rice, sweet potato roll, and toro. Everything was delicious and I will be coming back to try more things. All plates are shareable so it is nice to have the variety and ability to taste multiple things.
