    Great food. Loved the lavender lemon drops. Shelton provided the best service! Outdoor seating was great during the sunset.

    Service is patient and helpful. Kitchen is careful and the food is consistently good over the years. No wonder this is the locals’ special event restaurant. Well worth the drive.

    It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Summit house, but it is a place that my mother likes to go to regularly. So we took her out for her 76 birthday. I was somewhat surprised that it was nearly 15 minutes after we were seated at our table before anyone came by to even offer us water. For a establishment such as this, that should’ve happened within 3 to 4 minutes. The acoustics in the main dining room is less to be desired. Very difficult for a party of sex, in our case, to have more of a conversation with anyone other than the person right next to them. this is obviously a well regarded establishment. But need to put a little emphasis on the basics.

    First time dining there. This was for a very late Mother's Day for my grandma and her friend 😊😊😊. Our waiter was really nice and professional. Food was great for our first time. I recommend the scallops. As well as the lavender lemon drop alcohol was really good. We all had a good time.

    Excellent service. Fresh n warm sour dough & very good dessert . Quality of prime rib is average on the tough side. Lobster bisque wud be good if it is not so salty . Disappointed that we didn’t get a window seating from a month advanced booking request n twice of verbal request over the phone . Overall a warm n comforting ambience & good value for special occasion dining .

    Went here for my anniversary. They gave us a nice outside table (as requested) and gave us a thoughtful card signed by the entire staff. Service was very attentive and prompt. The wife and I shared an order of crab cakes, which was excellent. I had the prime rib, which was cooked well. The only small gripe I'd have was that the popover was a bit dry, but everything else was excellent. The wife had the John Dory and loved it. For desert, they gave us a free profiteroles, which was a lovely touch. Overall, I'd recommend Summit House for special occasions (or even non-special occasions!).
