Located in the new and luxurious Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, Summer House is the place where summer never ends. Sunshine vibes fill the restaurant, complete with beach house décor, open-air skylights, outdoor water features and fireplaces, lush greenery, and more.

Summer House offers an indoor and outdoor space for lunch and dinner. The California-inspired menu from Chef Ben Goodnick highlights seasonal specialties with locally sourced produce and fresh ingredients, along with market-driven pasta, artisan pizzas, antipasti, and more.

The Cookie Bar inside the restaurant's market area features the famous oversized cookies, bars, and other sweet specials. Light and refreshing cocktails pair beautifully with the seasonal menu alongside the stars of the show, Summer House’s Rosé Cart featuring Summer House Rosé.

Best description is very average. Both my wife and I ordered different chicken dishes and both can overcooked, so dry and chewy. Expected more for a LEY restaurant

The meal was fantastic. We ordered the Las Vegas special dinner for Restaurant Week and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go back for another meal at Summer House.

I was excited to visit Summer House at the Durango Casino due to its raving reviews and inviting ambiance. The restaurant certainly lives up to its reputation in terms of service and atmosphere. The staff were definitely welcoming and attentive. The interior was charming that balances elegance and comfort, perfect for both casual and special occasions. However, despite the excellent service and ambiance, the food did not meet the same standard. It lacked flavor, texture and finesse that I was anticipating. There’s definitely room for improvement for their food.

It was just ok. Might sit at the bar next time. Service was ok. It’s a decent brunch place just nothing on the menu really knocked our socks off.

We were here for brunch during restaurant week and loved the choices that were offered. We both started with their fresh summer house salad with various greens, chopped tomatoes, corn, slivers of corn tortillas and a light dressing. I really liked my grilled salmon and bacon sandwich on chiabatta bread. It was perfectly cooked. It came with skinny mini fries which are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, my new favorite type of fries. For dessert we had our choice of many types of cookies from their delectable bakery. I had the lemon cookie and it was amazing! Soft in the middle with a very light coating of lemon glaze. Perfect amount of tartness you want in a lemon dessert. My husband had the peanut butter cookie and it was very tasty but a bit on the dry side. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the people watching was off the hook! It is a place to be seen so dress accordingly. I use to live in Dallas where brunching is next level and Summer House is the quintessential brunch spot in Vegas.

Party of four dined. Three of us had Halibut dinner, which tasted fine but probably the smallest piece of fish we ever had. Our guess was 3-4oz not more than that. All of us were still hungry afterwards. Fish tacos were great.

The food is fine but nothing I would go back for. The noise level was pretty high. Service was not good. There were three of us and we all ordered dessert at the same time we ordered brunch. My sister and friend got theirs but I had two remind the waitress twice and eventually get someone else to bring my butterscotch pot de Creme. Everyone was done and just waiting on me by the time I got mine. It was so sweet I couldn’t eat it. Not good !!! We were seated for a long time and no one ever came to offer a refill on my tea. It was very hard to find our waitress and try to get her attention. When you make your reservation they ask if it’s a special occasion. It was my sister and my friends birthdays so I put that on the reservation but nothing was mentioned at all. So why do they ask ??? There is nothing about Summer House that would ever make me want to return.
