Located in the new and luxurious Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, Summer House is the place where summer never ends. Sunshine vibes fill the restaurant, complete with beach house décor, open-air skylights, outdoor water features and fireplaces, lush greenery, and more.

Summer House offers an indoor and outdoor space for lunch and dinner. The California-inspired menu from Chef Ben Goodnick highlights seasonal specialties with locally sourced produce and fresh ingredients, along with market-driven pasta, artisan pizzas, antipasti, and more.

The Cookie Bar inside the restaurant's market area features the famous oversized cookies, bars, and other sweet specials. Light and refreshing cocktails pair beautifully with the seasonal menu alongside the stars of the show, Summer House’s Rosé Cart featuring Summer House Rosé.

Lovely patio, inside is too noisy. Great staff, friendly and efficient. Good food, but please offer either small & large options for salads or a half order option. The salads are HUGE. If you order that you cannot order an entree. The server said it is "too complicated" for the kitchen to make a smaller size, but that makes zero sense~ they claim that each salad is made to order. That is great, and easy to make either a full or half order. Charge accordingly.

The only issue was when the waiter delivered the bill he had that black device in his hand for credit cards. I was paying cash. I asked for a printed receipt and instead of leaving it with me he hovered over me while I went through my wallet. The hovering is a form of intimidation I believe regarding the tip. It is so unprofessional and annoying. Management needs to enforce that all waiters and staff leave the diner alone after presenting the bill. The black device if paying with a credit card is annoying as well as you have no privacy because the waiter stands there waiting. Yard House has the same device however it is placed on each table so you're able to pay without the horrible hovering.

Beautiful venue, food was underwhelming to say the least. I ordered the Brussel sprout salad and it was so dry and bland that unless you’re a horse, you’ll be there chewing for hours. Poke nachos were ok, truffle fries were cold and cardboard like. It was just ok. $160 on sub par lunch for 3 people, at least our server was fantastic.

Honestly so many things went wrong with our dining experience, I don’t even know where to start. I would never dine here again is all I can say.

It is very sad that they do not wear name tags. It is hard when service is bad. If you get a good server the place is 5 stars. They have some bad servers. We had one that brought out starter and no small plates. I was 1/2 way through my meal and she asked if I would like a box. she then brought the bill while still eating.

Had brunch to celebrate my friends birthday. She ordered the Mexican hash brown and I had the giant cinnamon roll an a cup of coffee. We shared the savory entree and it’s was cold to the touch. We ate it because my friend was embarrassed to send it back. My food was good but waitresses never returned to our table to offer a refill for my coffee or ask if we needed anything. Poor service and food ok but pricey. We gave it a 7 out of 10 and of course neither of us would want to come back.

Very friendly & attentive staff! Atmosphere/decor was refreshing and cool. Husband had the fish tacos he said were good I had the Glazed Salmon Entreee, it also was good- it only came with a broccoli slaw salad which had way way way way too much creamy sauce- not so good. I was disappointed they didn't offer bread or rolls or even rice with the entree as it could have kind of soaked up some of the soupy slaw, I could have ordered something else off menu for this purpose, however my salmon would be cold by the time I would receive it. The appetizer menu could have a few more choices. This is a really nice restaurant, and I would try it again but ordering a different dish
