Food very good although had to send back 2 steaks undercooked. Waitstaff very nice but disorganized. That said, overall great experience!

Joel was the best waiter! We celebrated an early Father’s Day lunch and everything was perfect! From the check in to the exit. Exquisite!

We were seated promptly at reservation time. Server was very helpful - steaks were cooked to perfection (medium rare), loved all of our sides , especially the crab fried rice. Side salads were generous portions. Magician was a great reward for our 6 year old at the end of dinner- super fun!

The tables were so close together that when the servers were helping the table next to us, his rear end was inches away from my face. No lie! Needless to say it was hard to eat. We started with the beef Wellington bites and were completely disappointed. Instead of tasting like bites of filet it was supposed to be wrapped in puff pastry, it tasted like over salted shredded pot roast. And the puff pastry was rolled so thin that it didn’t puff. The Caesar salad we had next was white. Not one speck of green leaf on either of our plates. At that point I decided to have the shrimp cocktail for my meal. I figured they couldn’t ruin that… Fortunately the shrimp was cooked as it should have been. But their cocktail sauces that they served left a lot to be desired. Neither sauce had that nice zippy horseradish flavor that one comes to expect with something called cocktail sauce. (My husband had the grilled salmon and said it was ok. He said he liked his that he makes in the air fryer better) So my last hope was dessert. But nothing caught my eye, so I opted to have a decaf espresso with steamed cream. When has anyone asked for coffee and cream and had them mix it for you before bringing it to the table? Never. Well, our server did. So unfortunately, even my espresso didn’t come out right. Way too much cream was mixed in. I took a couple of sips and had had enough disappointments for one expensive meal. The place looks really nice when you walk in but after sitting so close together and the various music that you hear playing and the noise volume and the caliber of the service, you really should not be paying Capital Grill prices for a sub par experience.

we waited for 1 hour before we got our salads and almost 2 before our meal was served. When i ask about it they said it was the experience. i disagree! we frequent going there and i have never waited almost 3 hours from start to finish. The food was good and hot and waitress was super nice but the wait wasn’t worth the effort to eat there… 3 hours is along time.

Apps were not hot especially pork belly it tasted reheated and left over. Atleast 5 sides did not come with meals and had to be requested to go. While I think the took 3 off it was a graduation dinner and I didn't want to make a scene. My wife and I love Sullivan's but this was the worst. If I had used my platinum amex I would have disputed the meal since as a 30 year card holder this definitely did not meet their definition of fine dining. We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday at Sullivan’s in Raleigh. They put us at a table in the back corner of the restaurant next to the waiter station. All night long we listened to the waitresses and waiters talk poorly about the customers they were taking care of. Food was good drinks as well. But the hostess is not good and they should get rid of that ramble. We will try something else next time.
