SUGARCANE raw bar grill is a brasserie-style restaurant and raw bar serving sushi, open fire-grilled fare, small plates and more. Inviting guests to “kick back, eat well and stay awhile,” we are on a quest to celebrate the simple pleasures in life – eating well and celebrating with friends.

In 2016, SUGARCANE raw bar grill opened on Restaurant Row at the Venetian® Las Vegas. The restaurant was quickly recognized by top culinary outlets: Eater called it “the most anticipated arrival of the year” and named it one of the “15 hottest restaurants in Las Vegas."

What a perfect spot for a pre-show dinner and drinks. We were not looking for formality, but we were looking for impeccable food and service, and that's what we received. Favorites - Duck & Waffle, Lobster & Shrimp Tamale, Oysters!, Pig Ear & Papaya Pad Thai, Hamachi 'Pizza', Goat Cheese Croquettes, Bacon-Wrapped Dates, Lamb Chops Service - Professional and attentive without being overbearing Drinks - Fantastic craft cocktails selection and good pricing on well drinks We will return!

Enjoyed a delicious brunch with friends. We enjoyed several raw bar items, hamachi pizza 10/10 torched salmon crispy rice 10/10. We also ordered their chilaquiles special, toad in the hole, cuban benedict and the most amazing espresso martinis 🥰

VERY interesting menu!! A bit noisy, but the tables are far apart so that helped. Our waiter, Jorge, was excellent as was all the wait staff. We had the duck fried rice and the lobster and shrimp tamale. Both were excellent . The portions are big so they are very shareable. The two dishes were plenty for the two of us!!! The restaurant is also conveniently located right by the Summit Showroom, so that is another plus if you are going to the show!!

After sitting for over 15 minutes we called over the manager to take our order. Cocktails were wonderful, food was eh. Eggs runny, toast not toasted. Asked for the check, suggest tip was for amount after tax which shouldn’t be. We gave 2 cards to split the order found out 2 days later they put it all on one card. Just expect better for $172 breakfast for 3.

Our server was a bit awkward towards us as we could tell that he did not want to be there. He would sometimes stand 5 ft away from our table and just look at us. Other than that, the food was delicious and very fairly priced. The best dish was the bbq spiced pig ears. The duck & waffles, the main protein, was a bit dry. Lastly, the churros with mexican hot chocolate came out fresh and piping hot. This was overall the highlight during my vegas trip. Would definitely recommend trying at least once.

This was our first time dining at Sugarcane, and I would happily go back. The ambiance is casual, with music playing loud enough to distract from our table being right off the main walkway in the Venetian. It never felt too pedestrian to me. Our server was friendly and provided recommendations, but got busier throughout our meal and wasn’t able to check on us as regularly. In his defense, midway through our meal he also got a 10 person group in his section. Food and drink were both very nice. We tried the shrimp ceviche, which was a light start to the meal. The ceviche does only arrive with two large cassava chips, which was not quite enough to eat with the generous portion of ceviche. I highly recommend the torched salmon crispy rice dish, which was outstanding and my favorite of the meal. We also had the skirt steak with chimichurri, and the roasted mushrooms. I would not hesitate to recommend any of the dishes we tried. We also love trying new cocktails, and tried a watermelon-jalapeño drink, a strawberry balsamic drink, a passion fruit old-fashioned, and the Mexican lemon drop. Sugarcane is definitely worth a stop!

We ate twice at Sugarcane during our last trip to Vegas in March. The meals were delicious and the drinks were so great that we ordered extra and took them with us! The staff was both cheerful and fun. We will definitely be back!

We loved the menu and we loved the food at Sugarcane! Our server was excellent. Throughout the whole time we were there, however, a very loud, insistent, rhythmic beat played from the speakers. It made conversation next to impossible, and tainted what could have been a relaxing ambiance.

Our last meal at sugarcane was disappointing. From the empanadas, chicken thighs and rice, all was overcooked and not fresh. We actually had stomach issues after our meal there and ruined our following day in Vegas. We did not eat all day so we’re looking good forward to our dinner there, not sure if we will return.

Cocktails and food were all superb. This is one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The tuna nicoise, roasted corn, lamb chops and duck and waffle was perfect for two of us. The server and the staff were great. Really, really good night. Thank you!

We were impressed with the variety on the menu and the waiter’s explanation of specific dishes. Our meal was just perfect. It was as expected in presentation and taste. The hot selections were hot and the cold were cold. No lukewarm food! One of our orders was incorrect but our waiter took care of this quickly. Of the 6 different restaurants we visited this week, Sugarcane had the best food!

Went for Happy Hour and I just have to say I wasn’t “happy” with the food prices. The shrimp cocktail was $6 for 2 shrimp. The shrimp was the cheap small kind you can get at the grocery store. The happy hour beer was $8 and the glass was maybe 10 oz. I won’t be going back.
