Sugar n’ Spice has been delighting Cincinnati area diners with its secret-recipe Wispy Thin Pancakes, Huge Fluffy Omelettes, Signature Creative Sandwiches, Specials and more for over 75 years. The breakfast and lunch menu has changed little since Mort Keller established the restaurant in 1941. Today, Sugar n’ Spice prides itself on creating a fun, comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere, serving the same great food that has kept people coming back for generations.

They apparently don’t take reservations on open table so they didn’t even try to accommodate us. If you don’t take reservations on this site then take it off of here. Really sad cause it was for a birthday and non of us had ever been there.

Food was OK but with the exception of the omelet, the portions were so small! We left there to go to the pumpkin patch and had to stop at McDonalds because both boys were still hungry. My corn beef hash had less than a 1/4 cup of hash on it, luckily I ordered an extra egg! The noise was deafening!! Service was slow, had to ask for coffee refills, forgotten order items.

I ordered the Egg Benedict and pink lemonade mimosa. My eggs were over cooked but everything was still delicious. Whoever made the hollandaise sauce is my new favorite person for it.

second time in a row coming here for breakfast with terrible service and cold food. we waited 40 minutes for our food after ordering and weren’t offered refills and no one stopped at our table during this time. when our food finally came it was cold. i understand it’s a busy weekend morning, but it’s a breakfast restaurant so should be able to handle the regular brunch rush.

We come to Sugar and Spice on a regular basis for breakfast. This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had there. Our server smelled like garbage. No refills, no checking back. Seemed very confused. They forgot my kids scrambled eggs with cheese (which is no big deal) BUT when they finally brought them out, the eggs were cold and had frozen shredded cheese on top (not melted). I had ordered my pancakes with pecans. They forgot and brought me plain pancakes. When I asked for pecans, they brought the same pancakes out with a few pecans on top. My other child was served raw sausage links. I know good people are hard to find in the restaurant business but this was AWFUL.

Went with a large group and they had a fabulous table waiting for us. Servers were attentive and friendly. We loved the decor and rubber duckies were a hit.

It was wonderful. We had a party of 9 and our waitress was amazing. We didn’t have any complaints.
