Had an excellent time at sugar factory. The price was giraffe p****. The atmosphere was fun and eclectic. It was definitely a vibe. The food was good but not $$$ good. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend but it’s a one time ticket for the price. Definitely not worth going back.

Not the experience we were expecting! The staff was unprofessional and seemed inexperienced. The food timing was horrible. The wrong dinner dish was brought out by itself and when we asked for it to come out after the appetizer. Everything come out at once without that dish. Really disappointed overall and given all of the options on the Riverwalk wouldn’t recommend Sugar Factory!

We went and sat for over 20 mins with no service. The staff just continued to pass our table or stand up at the hostess station talking without ever greeting us. we eventually just walked out and left because they clearly didn’t want our business. I could understand if it was busy, but there were only three other families in there besides us, all of whom had already been served. Disappointing bc we went there for my sons bday dessert :/

The service was really good but food was subpar and there were absolutely too many gnats. I spent my entire time fanning away gnats and attempting to cover my drink and food. I eventually asked for a to go box in order to keep my food covered from gnats. I was told they come from the river but there needs to be something to alleviate this issue. For the amount I paid I shouldn’t have to deal with gnats.

Completely underwhelming and overpriced. It smelled like seafood, lots of flies and the windows were closed, service was slow, for 4 grilled cheese meals we paid $150! Worst meal of our entire trip. Needs major cleaning and server training

Took my 12 year old and seven of her friends for her birthday party and it was amazing! The staff made everything so special for her, the food was wonderful, the ambiance beautiful, and the staff helpful and friendly. A wonderful experience!

Everything was overpriced and not worth the cost. Also, adding a 20% service charge and then asking for an 18-20% tip on top of that is ridiculous. I would not recommend.

The good: food was actually pretty good, what we could eat. The bad: The drinkware is peeling labels, the drinks were unbalanced, and there was an abundance of dry ice in the bowls without a warning/risk label or verbal warning (just fyi: let dry ice sit for 10 minutes to keep yourself safe), a single mimosa costs $19, the bathrooms were unsanitary, the tables, walls, and floors were sticky and dirty, and the music was not only loud, but someone kept skipping through the songs mid play. The ugly: There’s a serious gnat problem that the servers and management knows about. It was such a nuisance that I gave up trying to eat and just started killing the swarm of gnats at our table inside. When we flagged down the manager, she seemed baffled after asking,”did the servers not tell you about the gnats before you ordered?!” and gave us $20 off for our inconvenience. The worst part was we would’ve spent at least $200 more if we didn’t want to leave so badly. If you are aware of gnats, maybe clear the drinks from the bar counters or clean up the stench that’s overwhelming in the bathroom. I feel terrible for the servers as they’re the ones directly having to deal with this mess and losing $$ because of it. Absolutely do not waste your money here.

Smelled like a bar inside. Very loud. Seems more like a bar than a restaurant. We were seated outside, they didn’t clean tables well so swarmed by pigeons until we asked to be seated inside. Food was bland. Servers were kind and outgoing.
