Sugar Factory American Brasserie brings its first Sugar Factory Express to Mall of America!
Our fast casual dining experience carries all of the whimsy and fun Sugar Factory is known for, in a more casual environment for the whole family.
Known for its famous candy accessory, the Couture Pop, Sugar Factory has many celebrity fans including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Flo Rida, Hailee Steinfeld, Katy Perry, Scott Disick, Jason Derulo, Britney Spears, Jerry Seinfeld, Selma Hayek and Mel B. Guests can expect a whimsical candy land experience with floor to ceiling candy bins, fun retail items, homemade gelato and artisan coffee. Instagram-worthy menu items range from their famous 24-scoop King Kong Sundae, piled high with various toppings, to their signature alcohol-infused candy smoking goblets such as the Lollipop Passion, garnished with lollipops and candy necklaces.

Was very disappointed to find that they did not have rainbow buns for their sliders. It is literally the opening image on their webpage. Asked for a kids menu because our girls loved getting a pink hamburger bun, but they don’t offer those on Friday-Sunday. Ordered two types of drinks, but they didn’t have an ingredient for each of them. Luckily our waiter was very kind and apologetic. Too bad that management has let this place go downhill. We will not be going back.

The burgers tasted okay if you can get past the grease that dropped from them. Definitely not worth $20 a burger. The shake tasted good, but was WAY over priced. Our server came to the table to take the order and give us the food. We didn’t see him again the remainder of the time we were in the restaurant. We had to track down the manager to get the bill. We will not be returning!

Overpriced low quality food. Gimicky, all about the presentation, which was honestly disappointing. Limited menu. Servers were very nice. Place was clean. Would not go back.

Chicken had fuzz cooked into the breading. I asked for no tomatoes or avocado on a sandwich, got both. Had another meal that literally had 2-4 inches of oil on the bottom of the bowl. Was so loud in there you couldn’t hear the people talking at your table, & the air must have been broken bc it was every bit of 85 degrees in there. The prices online are also false advertising bc everything is in fact TRIPLE the prices online. Would ABSOLUTELY NEVER recommend or EVER return!!! A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. DO BETTER.

Our server was good. Seemed very friendly. The shakes are ok just a lot of extras. The food was mediocre at best. They almost gave my shake away including setting it down at another table long enough for them to take my sucker out of it, realizing the mistake after they said something and taking it in the back and bringing it back after figuring it out, how do I know they did it(mine was missing that same sucker.) Left a lot to be desired for $200.

I made reservations for 10pm at night. We had a hard time finding the location due to the Mall being so big & us being from out of town. My family and I found the restaurant after our reservation time and the staff were so kind enough to still allow us. It made my son and sister’s birthday!

Service was slow and when bill came we asked to have split between too cards and then when checks came back the same card was run twice. All around okay as food was good and environment was fun but service will prevent me from going back.

Sugar Factory is big fun. This is the 3rd year we have gone. Doing the King Kong is definitely worth it.
