    Great view both outside on the penthouse decks and indoors. Courteous and attentive wait staff. Full bar and well made cocktails. Food options are limited and lunch and snack oriented. Still, good Berkeley venue for drinks and social gathering across from campus.

    There too few quick bite food selections to go along with the drinks. On a windy, cold day it is hard to sit outside. Major problem: I tried to make reservations at two restaurants an hour apart. Open Table kept canceling the first reservation every time I made the second reservation. There needs to an option where a diner can make two reservations in an evening. I thought I had a reservation at Comal after Study Hall, but then it turned out we didn't have one...it had been canceled by Open Table. Fortunately, we got seated at Comal. Please fix this in the software. Thank you...

    Food is ok, not a lot of choice and not super refined. The value is in the place and the views. Nice to be seating up there with nice views. There are simple tables with comfy chairs, and there are sitting corners with sofas, some with fire pits. Given the slowness, not sure why they didn’t sit us at one of the more comfy couches with fire places… That being said, the highlight was our waitress who was very nice and attentive while not intrusive. Overall a nice experience.

    Just to start, it’s so fun and freeing to be out on a rooftop with a fine view! And while it’s a simple menu, the food is really well done with generous servings. I had a rich tomato bisque with grilled cheese sandwich (multiple wee crostini sandwiches); my friend had the Cobb salad with chicken. We both loved our dishes. The Chemistry Class spiked Mexican chocolate was an irresistible treat, and friend was delighted the Romantic cocktail has a non-alcoholic botanical “tequila” option. Our server was the quirky, funny, and very solicitous Yuki, a lovely personality with our evening. Looking forward to the next visit.

    Galentines Happy Hour with two beloved friends. We had cocktails/wine and a few shared plates. Our server was outstanding. She really took care and had great suggestions. Portions were good for three. It being a hotel bar, the prices were a bit high, but since the view is so stunning its worth the extra on the final tab.

    Waitstaff were excellent, as was the food. Our table next to the window offered a great view. If noise from the football fans and overhead lighting could be a little softer, it would be perfect.

    We love this place and have been here several times. The menu has changed and it didn’t have many options. The place was super cold as well with the door opening at times. Hence the three stars this time. The wagyu burger and salad were good. Chocolate tart was very rich and good for sharing. Our favorites, the hummus, edamame, and steak entree were no longer on the menu.

    Four of us went for dinner. The drinks were good, the food was good. Two of us ordered fish and chips, two ordered cobb salad. But either the waitress didn't put in the full order or the kitchen was back up. The fish and chips came our first, but it was 20 minutes before the salads made it to our table.

    The menu changes often and has limited choices. Especially for vegetarians. We were inside and it was dark. Usually, it is better when daylight and you can sit outside.

    Magical experience with spectacular views. I had a party of 4 celebrating my daughter's birthday. We were greeted by Grace and her sweet smile. Food was 🔥, service was on point and staff was professional and nice. Will definitely relive again.

    Nachos were delicious and plenty for 3-4 to share - got the added chicken and they didn't skimp on it like some places do. Bartender made me 2 lovely martinis!

    Great spot, food and service were excellent. The grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup was really good. Views were great from the rooftop. On the night of our visit, the rooftop did not have enough outdoor warmers, but it was a Wednesday night. I would recommend this place.

    Views are spectacular (at least on a clear day). Hope they have heaters when weather isn't warm. Menu is limited, and from what we had, nothing memorable. Service was fine, and pleasant, but could be better, but perhaps they're still getting their sea legs. I'd recommend for drinks or a snack; probably not for dinner.

    This rooftop bar is great for a small get together. They have great starters. Tried edamame, shrimp tacos, not-chos wit steak, steak frites across many visits. Their wines are pretty good as well. The view is fantastic. They have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays I think.

    The steak was overdone. I asked for medium it looked well done maybe medium well. There was no pink in the middle. For the price, I would expect it to be better. Otherwise the food was good.

    A must!!! The rooftop is great especially on a nice day! The have couches and tables on the rooftop. It’s a great space for a girls day out. Big up to the bartender Alphonso and his brother who was our outstanding server.

    Terrific service for our table of 8 (which can be hard to do)! We shared small plates and had a range of tasty drinks in this great rooftop atmosphere. So lovely to have a new spot in downtown Berkeley to meet friends and look out at our beautiful city.

    Berkeley is in dire need of more establishments like this gem I recently discovered. The moment you step inside, a nice environment with great music welcomes you, setting the perfect tone for a night out. They offer delicious cocktails that are well-crafted and quite refreshing. When it comes to the food, it is good but not outstanding. I must say, though, that I enjoyed my meal (Brussels Sprouts and Burger). However, I can't help but feel that there's room for improvement when it comes to their menu variety. Berkeley is known as a foodies' delight, and it would be great to see this spot embrace that culture fully. Specifically, they could benefit from offering more vegetarian and vegan options to cater to the diverse dietary preferences of their patrons. As for their drink selection, I believe there's an opportunity to expand here too. Incorporating a better range of choices would appeal to a broader audience and bring in more potential customers. The cherry on top of my experience here was the fantastic view. It truly enhanced the dining experience, making me appreciate this place even more. All in all, this restaurant has great potential; some tweaks in the menu and drinks department could elevate it into one of Berkeley's must-visit spots.

    We were looking forward to dining at this spot, but it was too loud (they need some baffle or fabric on the walls to muffle the noise); they need a few more people to wait on the tables. Our poor waiter had the entire indoor dining area. The food was good, but the fries could be crispier.

    Berkeley has long needed a rooftop place like this. The view is terrific, the staff friendly. The food, for the price, is perfectly fine. There was live music, not too loud, pretty good. The drinks were strong and reasonable. All good.
