Michelin Starred Stubborn Seed is the result of pairing unrelenting passion with an unapologetic approach. It aims to unearth cravings of the palate while constructing a reward in each bite. This philosophy takes honest ingredients and elevates them. At the helm is 2022 James Beard Award Semi-Finalist and Bravo’s Top Chef Season 13 Winner, Chef Jeremy Ford. In 2022, Stubborn Seed was awarded one Michelin star in the highly coveted inaugural Florida guide.

Stubborn Seed is a tasting menu only restaurant, with the option of a la carte service or the tasting menu at the bar. Reservations are available for table service and also available for the bar. Dress code strictly enforced as smart-casual. We are unable to accommodate tasting menus for guests following a vegetarian or vegan diet.

A cancellation fee of $50 per person will incur if cancelled within 24 hours of the reservation. On holidays and special occasions, cancellations fees will be $100 per person.

Other than a very intoxicated man getting sat next to us about halfway through, the entire experience was glorious from the staff. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be working there and knowledgeable about the food. I’d suggest a stronger policy on who can be in/out for somewhere that charges $175 just to sit down. The wine pairing was pretty phenomenal. I’ve never truly experienced wine changing the taste but would very much recommend it at this restaurant. Overall, would eat here again!

It was ok - not as good as the pervious times we have dined here .I thought some of the plates were not served at the correct temperature and lacked flavor .

Really good experience and pretty good for the price. We really enjoyed the food! It was creative and unique. Some things I don't even eat but tried for the first time and really enjoyed it. Every item was served in a creative way and it was just the right amount of food to be honest. Service was also great 👍 keep it up

It would have been a 5 star experience except we waited over an hour past our reservation time for our table. The manager did give us a discount so instead of 3 star experience I bumped it to 4 stars seems fair given the circumstances. They did give us free champagne while we waited which was also a nice gesture. They made the best of a bad situation and so did we it was an enjoyable meal.

Incredible food. Great service- Arturo deserves a medal for his service and killer personality. We had a blast and walked away so impressed with the care and attention they paid. The kitchen was backed up which extended the dining experience, but it just gave us more time to enjoy Stubborn Seed. 10/10 experience!

I had the tasting menu and the cooking and taste were both good . The plating of the crudo dish looked messy and just tossed together and was similar in taste to the curry fish. The restaurant is very noisy and it can take away from the experience but I don’t know if this is the restaurant or Miami Beach. The service seems rushed when serving your dish, this caused some of the staff to trip over the explain of the dish one even forgetting his “script” and not just at my table. I want to be clear this is a good restaurant with good food, the farm made bread and butter were amazing, the duck with pistachio crust had incredible flavor, and the plating of the pallet cleansing lollipop was a show. The restaurant just needs slight adjustments to be excellent!

I loved the experience. The food was unbelievable and honestly was wowed by every single dish. We had to wait a little long for our table but the staff made up for it with some champagne and an apology. A few large groups were quite loud, but the music and overall ambience did a great job at drowning that noise and making it enjoyable and intimate still. Absolutely enjoyed myself and will most definitely be back.

This was the most incredible and decadent experience I’ve had in Miami. Come here without dietary restrictions, just take the dairy pills because oh my god it’s so worth it! I’m not sure what was better, the passion fruit cocktail or the surprise birthday Oreo gold dusted cake. Thank you for the best birthday dinner I’ve ever had!
