Our experience at Strega’s yesterday was awesome, from friendly and attentive service to outstanding food prep and quality straight through from the delicious focaccia and herbed butter to the scrumptious chicken masala. Very nice, calming atmosphere, as well. Definitely going back!

Everything was very good except the main dish. The pasta was overcooked. Ruined the whole dish. Paying $36 for a plate of overcooked pasta is not acceptable.

The service at Strega was excellent. Our server Khalil was personable, helpful, and always available. Our drinks, appetizers, and meals were excellent. The Branzino, Bolognese and the Scallops and Gnocchi were all delicious as were our desserts. We had a wonderful dining experience at Strega and would highly reccommend.

The food was not good especially for the price. I got the veal and there was more bone than meat. And service took 1 hour and a half to get our meal.

Service was excellent, food was average, not outstanding. Bolognese was not flavorful, almost a burnt taste. Filet or potatoes were not seasoned well, salad and desert was fine.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the service. Since it was Sunday night, it was quiet and therefore relaxing and we were able to have great conversation and a terrific meal.

Our server Pablo made the experience tremendous! We appreciated his Veal bone in recommendation. Octopus appetizer, dessert all of which was delicious. He took excellent care of us.

The food was mediocre at best. No comparison to the delicious Italian North End Strega. Meatballs were mushy and had too much breading. Eggplant was an oily burnt mess. Waiter was attentive before meals were served. Never again!

I've eaten here twice during my stay at the Boston Park Plaza. Both times I have been impressed with the quality and flavours of the dishes I've chosen. I have selected starters on both occasions and these have been plenty large enough for me. I asked about a side salad accompaniment and was offered a half size choice of the main course salads with no problem. The service was considerate, efficient and friendly, making me feel very welcome and comfortable as a diner eating alone.

This is a very expensive restaurant with mediocre service. My meal was just ok though my friends really enjoyed theirs. I had octopus that was not tender enough. The more simple pastas seemed to be good but still not worth the price. The restaurant was nearly empty and we had very inattentive service. I won't go back.

Wonderfully experience for an impromptu dinner after seeing moulin rouge. Wish I remembered the waiters name. He recommended wonderful cheese from the board (which was delicious). My husband order filet and I ordered bolognese which were both delicious. We ended with the SIGNATURE TORTA CIOCCOLATO and it did not disappoint (yum). Would recommend for a nice evening out. Price was $300 for 2 people with tip. We also had a couple of drinks. Worth the money!!

Phenomenal dining experience and grub from start to finish. We’ve lived in the neighborhood for years yet never dined here. Not sure why…Its an under appreciated place. Surprised it’s not packed all the time. We’ll be going back for sure…

Four of us dined here for an early New Year's Eve dinner. We've done this the prior 2 years and they have had a lovely jazz band (from Berkley, I was told) playing for NY Eve and it made a festive, special atmosphere. This year they did not have the music and I was very disappointed. The food was less excellent than usual in that my swordfish, although cooked well, sat in a soupy sauce; it would have been tastier if the sauce had been thickened so one could enjoy it on the fish. The service was good. This continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.

Food was noticeably less tasty than the dinner we had there last year. We won’t be going back - the value of the food is not worth it. It’s too bad - we really enjoyed it just a year ago.

The only reason for not giving a higher food rating was because both parties’ [very expensive] filets came out a little overcooked (rare was med rare, med rare was med). Everything still tasted delicious and the service was great.

The folks working there tried hard, I do believe it’s managements fault the staff is not better coordinated. The establishment was mostly empty, yet every part of our service was untimely and by so many different people? The pasta was mush under the seafood scampi, my wifes pasta the same different dish. The bar & serve personnel were friendly & attentive but only after we had to ask many times over. We also had our gift cards, which we got at the same establishment 3 years ago turned down due to Nick Varano no longer being part of that restaurant. Not a pleasant way to spend an anniversary dinner.

The service here was seriously slow, especially when you compare it with the awesome service at Strega Seaport and Hanover Street. It looks like the holiday rush might be to blame, but it really messed up our meal — the food came out barely warm. Just the other night at Eddie's V, despite the holiday crowd, everything was top-notch. It's a bit of a letdown here, to be honest. They really need to step up their game in both the speed and quality of their service, maybe take a page from the other Strega spots or Eddie's V.
