Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis.
Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have a full vegetarian and vegan menu with gluten-free options. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday at 4pm for regular seating and a special Industry Night with lots of great deals for hospitality workers. Stray Dog is open Tuesday-Thursday from 12pm to 11pm for indoor dining and bar. Thursday has all day Happy Hour along with Trivia at 8pm. Late night eats until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Saturday and Sunday morning we offer brunch from 12pm -3pm. We have a Main Menu, Vegetarian Menu, and Kids Menu.

Celebrated Mother's Day here with my family. Great food, burgers are fantastic!! There is some construction on the roads in front of the restaurant, however, still very easy to find parking.

Service and food is always outstanding at Stray Dog. It's a family favorite. The vegan options are outstanding and the variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic beverages is appreciated!

Some of the food was great, but fish tacos were inedible. Also we had an added charge to our bill of $75 that was supposed to be $0.75 for pica de gallo because we asked for more because the container was left than half full. Didn’t seem quite right. Thank goodness we caught and had it fixed. Higher level bar food, but just not quite there on service and consistent quality.

A sensory overload experience. Cute atmosphere. Very greasy tator tots. Mediocre hamburger. Chili dog- sausage was good- chili and bun were inedible. We were seated at a high top even though we reserved a “standard table” we chose a different time so we could a standard table instead of a high top- they acted like this isn’t a choice in the reservation system.

Went to eat here after seeing a show at the Orpheum. Loved it! Fun atmosphere and menu. Loved the various fry versions. Our daughter is a vegetarian and she almost cried she was so thrilled with the variety of options. Service was friendly. Prices really reasonable and pretty extensive beer menu. Highly recommend for a fun meal.

I had the Rooster hamburger which was very good, My husband had the brown bourbon burger which he enjoyed. My sister had the mushroom Swiss cheese burger. They were all good!

First trip here, and it was an enjoyable and tasty time. There were plenty of options from tasty cow to vegan. The atmosphere was very fun, and the service was good. I would certainly come back again.

Whenever my wife and I crave a hamburger, there is no other choice than Stray Dog. I have tried every one and enjoy the wide variety that they offer. The beer and wine selections are awesome as well. You must give them a try. We have been customers for several years and their patio experience is a must. Oh, and bring your pooch too for the outside environment. Staff is wonderful. Cooks have it nailed.

Took quite a long time to place and order, then afterwards we didn't see our server again for an hour. Food was ok. Wanted to order desert but ended up ordering it to go and it still took a half hour to receive a simple desert bar.

It wasn't very busy when we had lunch at 12:45. Our server was pleasant and friendly. Our food was delicious. My vegan sandwich has generous portions of meat and the taste was excellent. It was supposed to be served on multichannel toast, but it was served on white toast, which was okay. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were large.

Waited 15 minutes after being seated to get a glass of water, and another 10 (25 total) before our waiter came around for the first time. Additionally, Brussels sprouts we ordered as an appetizer were forgotten about, and we had to ask about them halfway through the meal. They were brought out eventually. Food was good, but the lack of service was very frustrating.

We love Stray Dog! The ambiance is cozy, casual, and fun with brick walls and dog paintings. The sliders and cocktails are delicious and affordable. The service is spot-on and the staff is very attentive and friendly. We always have a great experience!

The food and the service at Stray Dog was excellent. We love the full page of vegetarian options they have! The noise level was fine, we would just prefer to not have a TV screen with sports while we eat dinner. We will definitely return and also love to get Stray Dog take-out.

The food tasted good but was cold. The service was very poor. When we asked for napkins and ketchup they were not brought over. It took a long time to get service. The staff even wear shirts that say "be patient, there's only like 3 of us working here" on the back, so I guess their whole brand is poor service? Seems like a strange choice. I know staffing is difficult right now, but this was disappointing.
