Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis.
Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have a full vegetarian and vegan menu with gluten-free options. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday at 4pm for regular seating and a special Industry Night with lots of great deals for hospitality workers. Stray Dog is open Tuesday-Thursday from 12pm to 11pm for indoor dining and bar. Thursday has all day Happy Hour along with Trivia at 8pm. Late night eats until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Saturday and Sunday morning we offer brunch from 12pm -3pm. We have a Main Menu, Vegetarian Menu, and Kids Menu.

Celebrated Mother's Day here with my family. Great food, burgers are fantastic!! There is some construction on the roads in front of the restaurant, however, still very easy to find parking.

Service and food is always outstanding at Stray Dog. It's a family favorite. The vegan options are outstanding and the variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic beverages is appreciated!

Some of the food was great, but fish tacos were inedible. Also we had an added charge to our bill of $75 that was supposed to be $0.75 for pica de gallo because we asked for more because the container was left than half full. Didn’t seem quite right. Thank goodness we caught and had it fixed. Higher level bar food, but just not quite there on service and consistent quality.

A sensory overload experience. Cute atmosphere. Very greasy tator tots. Mediocre hamburger. Chili dog- sausage was good- chili and bun were inedible. We were seated at a high top even though we reserved a “standard table” we chose a different time so we could a standard table instead of a high top- they acted like this isn’t a choice in the reservation system.

Went to eat here after seeing a show at the Orpheum. Loved it! Fun atmosphere and menu. Loved the various fry versions. Our daughter is a vegetarian and she almost cried she was so thrilled with the variety of options. Service was friendly. Prices really reasonable and pretty extensive beer menu. Highly recommend for a fun meal.

There are a lot of reasons this is one of our favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. Amazing burgers, fabulous tots, friendly staff, dog pictures everywhere. A great place for a casual lunch or dinner.
