Two guests order Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the chicken was over cooked and dry. One guest ordered Thai chicken salad . It was tasty but chicken was also dry. One person ordered pulled pork sandwich which was excellent. However loaded mashed potatoes were dry. White Sangria was delicious. Service was excellent.

Good food and service with 1 flaw. I ordered salmon and told the server only a few green beans and more rice. She brought the opposite. I asked for more rice and got it, but they charged me for it. She said the kitchen was inflexible even though they messed up the order. This is not right.

On a Tuesday, the restaurant wasn't that busy. My colleague and I both had French onion soup and fish & chips. Both were very tasty. The portion of fish & chips was large - both of us took about half home for another meal. Service was friendly and paced just right. We were left alone to chat after we'd finished eating - no rush!

Stonewood Ale House is a local Schaumburg gem. Service is always friendly, fast, and regularly goes above and beyond expectations. The burgers are some of the best in the Midwest. Steaks are delicious and for half the price of the “top” steakhouses, at the same quality. There’s a great selection of beer and cocktails.

Five Stars all around! The service was fast and super friendly, the food was so good! I had the bistro burger and I absolutely loved it, perfectly cooked and great flavor! The beer and cocktail selection was extensive and on point! I will definitely return.

We love coming to this restaurant. The food is excellent. Friendly casual environment. Very good servers. Large portion sizes, good value. If you are craving a good burger-this is the place!

The service and appetizer was great. The corned beef and cabbage was a huge disappointment. Serving hot deli style meat and way over done cabbage doesn’t cut it for St. Patrick’s Day.

Just there 6 weeks sho on Saturday for lunch and our experience was completely different. Great waiter, not rushed, all of our lunches were very good except for the turkey burger, would not recommend it. Saturday March 15, Burgers & Chicken Quesadillas were good. The brisket of beef was awful, looked like pork or corned beef and tasted like smoked ham. Green beans had garlic or some spice that was not appealing. Menu changed and a little too pricey for the food. Two drinks just alright. Service, it was very busy, felt rushed. Waiter didn’t introduce himself & didn’t take any time with us he definitely was too busy. Use to be one if our favorite places, they no longer offer the beer can roasted chicken. Overall we were disappointed.

I had a reservation for a standard table for six people. When we arrived they gave us a high-top table that a person at our party could not sit at. The manager said that we did not specify what type of table. I have a text from OpenTable saying standard seating. The manager then said he could sit us at a booth, however we could not all fit in it. We had show reservations and could not find another restaurant that could accommodate us on such short notice

Very loud atmosphere, we could only talk with the person next to us at a round table due to noise level. There was something for everyone on the menu and the food was good. Our server was attentive and our food came out quickly. It was nice to have a reservation and be seated right away after a long day. Hosts were very friendly.

Server denied special pricing advertised. Management refused to honor online pricing advertised stating website is old. Bill came with hidden up charges. I can quickly name 10 other restaurants that I would gladly pay an average of $25 or more a plate. Not worth spending hard earned money to be ripped off and disregarded for this establishment. Miss Bradley, the original manager!

Our server Christine was charming and very attentive. She was great! We had a nice meal with plenty leftover for lunch. The veggies were delicious green beans, not the typical mixed leftovers. Our mashed potatoes were very tasty and the bone in pork chops was awesome.

My first visit. I had the shrimp tacos and they were fabulous. My husband had The Elvis hamburger. Wow what a gross combination but a delicious treat. I would definitely order it again. Who would have though peanut butter, and bananas would be good on a hamburger. Great service and good atmosphere. Definitely will go again.

I usually end up at Stonewood once a month or so. The food is almost always very good and the prices reasonable for the area. This time the service missed the mark with some errors with the orders and also with the timing. Yet overall not serious enough to keep me from returning.
