Very pleasant meal in a very interesting building. and Superbly renovated. Great staff. Food and wine excellent though limited options. Recommended.

Food was ok, the patatos on the roast dinner was a little hard. The only bad thing was the bill they add on 20% vat and a £15 service charge which we wasnt expecting as the 3 course was £25 each this is lile another meal nearly 35 ontop of our bill was bad.

We came here after seeing this being advertised on TikTok and was very disappointed it looked nothing like advertised menu was different too Yorkshire pudding where big but the bottoms where full of oil the beef was very red almost raw the roast potatoes where burnt and tasted it the meal was presented nice but not practical ie:- half chicken served on chopping board couldn’t pour gravy over as it would drip everywhere, we had someone in our party with an allergy and made them aware of this but wasn’t filled with any confidence they knew anything about allergy could do with training , would not recommend and would not return we stayed for 50minutes had food and left very awkward setting really quite for an Easter Sunday too which says a lot .

The food was awful, £32 for a steak that was probably the worst ive had. Far too much pepper and very chewy. The chips were over cooked. Had breakfast the following morning and the poached eggs were raw. We were suprised to see the restaurant so quiet on a bank holiday but soon understood why.

Busy when we arrived as football match ! Surprisingly empty from 6.30 so lacking any atmosphere . Quite expensive. We were going to the theatre and I would suggest would be nice to have a 2 course pre theatre menu to encourage more people to boik

First time eating at this venue. Food was amazing big portions & all fresh. Perfect location to get over to our show in St.Georges hall. Seated as soon as we arrived and given a shove of seats in the restaurant. Would recommend and visit again.
