It's a pity that they are so inflexible. They won't even make a small accommodation for a child - and I mean small - such as serve the trimmings on the side of the plate of French Toast instead of smothering it with all the stuff kids may not like because they feel it looks prettier! Really - how would it harm them to serve that on the "side"

We had a great time. Food was great although the steak wasn't seasoned well, but we added salt at the table. Definitely will come again. Great service

We had no idea there was a third floor as we always eat in main dining. The third floor was freezing everyone was wearing their jackets and even the staff was telling us they were cold. The lighting was awful and felt kind of dungy, if they fix lighting maybe a better vibe. Felt like a cold pub and the main courses took forever and our steak was cold when arrived big disappointment bc we never ever wait soo long after apps at terroni chain restaurants so something must have been off that night. I wouldn’t sit on third floor again if I make reso but in the summer the patio on third floor is nice and happening 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anyway we are big fans of the food and the main restaurant much better vibe. Third floor was dark and sad energy for lack of a better description.

Just a neighbourhood gem -- we love it. Great food and great vibe. Alex, our server, is great. We have had experience with him previously and always very good. He and his peer were on the 3rd floor bar and great.

Great ambience, v buzzy. Great server. Our meals came later than those of nearby people who ordered after us- we ordered pizza and a salad. That was surprising. There was no explanation offered. All the same, not a place for a hurried lunch. Wine list looked fabulous.

Fabulous experience with guests from Calgary. Service was excellent and food out of this world! A must for those who appreciate fine dining! The best restaurant in the neighbourhood! I’ve already made another reservation!

Service and food very good. Bartender voice extremely loud over the sound of any other noise from kitchen and patrons. Boardering on obnoxious. She should modulate her volume level to avoid irritating guests. On top of it she mocked us with the patrons at the bar whom she was having a loud conversation. Extremely unprofessional. She belongs in a nightclub with loud speakers where the music will drown out the sound of her voice.

My go to spot for delicious food and drinks. Our server Babla was great and very knowledgeable about the menu. One of the best spots in Toronto.

Service was awful. Got burnt sourdough bread and when asked to please exchange for another piece was given a look from server of annoyance just to be brought another piece of burnt sourdough bread. Food just ok. Not worth it.

Ordered the pappardelle lamb ragu pasta. Portions were big, but nothing about the dish stood out. I’ve been here before and definitely prefer their pizza to their pasta. Fairly busy evening, which I can understand but service was so poor.

Beautiful room, comfortable seating, pleasant staff. But the food wasn’t all exactly Italian, and lacking some important polish. The olive oil that came with the bread was bitter, characteristic of unripe olives. The caprese salad was odd - the tomatoes seemed to have been blanched, presented whole and the mozzarella was unsliced, so the entire dish was difficult to manage. The pizza came unsliced, and our server gamely sliced it for us, but why wasn’t this done in the kitchen? We shared our dishes, but were provided with only 1 fork and spoon for all the dishes we ordered. Dessert was fabulous - an elaborate hazelnut combination of ice cream, crunchy cake-like base, and feathers of chocolate as a decorative flourish. Thought the whole meal would be just like that!

The food was really good. The service was horrible. We waited forever for water, longer for our drink order, even longer for our food order, and the wait continued asking for, getting and paying our bill. The server was giving all the attention to the table beside us. And completely ignoring us. Never once stopped by asking how our food was, or if we needed anything. The food was great, but the service not so much.

I ordered a beet salad as my main. It was listed with other salads on the gluten free menu. It was nothing but beets with a few microgreens and a few thin dollops of ricotta. It would have been nice to get a warning that this was more of a side than a main. Expensive lunch all things considered.

Been going there often. Love their menu, the quality of the menu and well thought options. Everything is authentic and well thought. The food, service, energy, lighting, vibe, that beautiful store on the main floor. The value you get per dollar spent is above pretty much all places in the GTA. 10/10

Would have loved a green salad. Wouldn’t change kale for basis greens.

Very good food, carefully prepared. Very good service. Fun place to eat. Downsides - can be crowded and noisy. Tables are very close together. Difficult to have a serious discussion. Perfect place to enjoy your meal, drink wine and not have to participate in the conversation ☺️

We had an issue with the steak tartare appetizer. I was surprised that my guests were not wowed with their food. I normally love stock
