I met a friend here for Happy Hour on a Thursday evening. We arrived at 5:00pm, so we had plenty of time to enjoy the Happy Hour specials. We enjoyed a couple cocktails (I enjoyed their signature watermelon tequila drink) and we ordered a lot of the different happy hour food options. Everything was pretty small (the shrimp cocktail was literally just two shrimp), but the flavors were all really good.

Food was great, but felt rushed the moment we arrived. It doesn’t make sense to have reservations until 11 if the kitchen closes at 11. Stay open until 12, so customers don’t have to rush to order. This was a birthday and we had to rush everything at no fault to the STK staff, it should have been experiential and special for a chosen restaurant for a b day and it was rushed and we felt pressure, took away from everything it could have been. Disappointing.

Food and ambience was amazing but: no utensils were on our table, asked the server for condiments but never came and had to ask a second time, but the most strange thing was that the waiter at the end offered to shake hands with my parents — now, I eat out a lot and I’ve been to all kinds of restaurants everywhere, and not a single place has the waiter offered to shake everyone’s hands like he’s greeting fans. I did not appreciate that at all.

Service was good but it took longer than normal to get our food. I been here many times and ordered the burger. We all asked for medium but they all came out well done. We stii devoured it. They normally do a pretty good job but missed the mark this time.

My family went for Mother's Day Brunch. Everyone in our party of 9 received cold, nasty food. Although our server was wonderful, the food was disgusting! Not recommended for brunch.

Our experience at STK was a disaster from start to finish. We had a late reservation after a music performance (10:15 PM). When I checked in the hostess greeted me by saying since the reservation was made so recently, they would need to treat us like a walkin. Then she said never mind, she had the wrong party, but that she couldn't seat us until some tables turned. We waited about 30 minutes with no chair or any place to sit. We noticed an empty two-top in the front of the restaurant but the hostess said that part of the restaurant was closed (even though the room was full and bustling with other diners). After another 10 minutes or so, we decided to sit at the table anyway since we were tired of standing. My companion asked if we could have bread while we waited, which was brought a few minutes later. Finally, around 10 minutes to 11 PM (40 minutes after our reservation time), a waiter came over and said that we could sit at that table after all and he would take care of us. He was a nice enough guy, but completely out to lunch. We ordered sparkling water which never came (despite multiple reminders). I did not have a dinner napkin. When I asked for one, I was given a cocktail napkin. Beers came in bottles with glasses for us to pour ourselves. Cesar salads came promptly, followed by mains without giving us time to finish the salads. My utensils were cleared, and then I had to wait another 10 minutes while my food got cold to get a knife and fork. My companion had to ask for a steak knife for her steak. Food was OK, nothing special. The $85 ribeye filet was mediocre and completely naked. My guest didn't realize there were zero sides, and when she tried to order fries, she was told the kitchen was closed. As expected, I got charged for the bottle of sparkling water that never came (it was later taken off the bill). Overall, absolutely pathetic service, mediocre food, noisy/nightclub ambiance, and outrageously expensive. I wouldn't return here, ever.

We waited 1:40 for any food to come. Many steaks came with the wrong temperature and some raw and cold. Drinks and dessert also took a long time. Not worth a low price let alone what they charge for one steak.

I dine all over the world at $$$ and $$$$ restaurants. This was by far the worst experience I have had in 20 years. Business dinner reservation for 7:30 for party of 6. Sat us 8:30 at table for 4 and asked us to squeeze in (6 large men). Told us we would have to wait an additional hour for bigger table. Had to call the manager over while all guest stood there before it was fixed. Another 15 min. Kitchen was slow, food was cold and over cooked. Service was horrible. Market fish was over $80 but local pub for $14 would have been way better. If you are a business person. Stay away from this place. Try Bix instead.

We had a terrible experience at STK. The Service was terrible and the server at the end refused To show us our bill, it just handed us a tablet with an option to add my email, ( the bill hasn’t arrived to my email yet). We asked to talk yo the manager about it and he wasn’t helpful at all, he told us that he couldn’t tell us what the bill was, we needed to wait for the bill via email. We think the server just added a big tip to himself, we can’t see the charge in the credit card yet, but we feel robbed. Just avoid the restaurant altogether ir you can.

It was terrible. For a place that highly priced, you would think the service would be exceptional. It was not. The cut we ordered was not the cut we got and the server could not tell the difference. We had to ask for steak knives. If you want a steak, go to an actual steak house. On top of everything, suddenly the volume shot up and it became unbearably loud and obnoxious. Not worth the money.

Amazing experience for a nice celebration. Definitely more energetic, loud music, drinks flowing kind of vibe. Not the place for a quiet intimate dinner but was perfect for a fun dinner out.

Instead of celebrating my 30th birthday at the STK in Vegas where I currently am residing, I came to the one in San Francisco and I am so happy I did so. Sunny, the manager there was so thoughtful and so welcoming. He made sure that my girls and I had a great time and made sure that we were happy with the food and service. He was very attentive and was so charismatic. From the second we stepped into the restaurant, it was nothing but good vibes, and it was all because of Sunny. You can tell that he really loves working there. My girls and I will definitely be returning to this STK to celebrate our next gathering.

They had a Dj and gave out shots to everyone when he played Lil John “shots”. This location is giving super club and it was a really fun dining experience. Food and drinks were great as well. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I dined at STK as an alternative option to our 1st Wedding Anniversary due to a power outage from our original dinner plans. Let me just say that due to that outage my husband and I had the BEST dinner we have had in a very long time at STK. We were greeted by two very nice hosts, we were sat immediately (we did have a reservation beforehand), and had an attentive server, AJ. We were offered a great time, drinks, and recommendations from the menu by our server, and desserts. AJ was awesome and he was just a vibe! The drinks were great and the dinner was even better. My husband and I don’t mind dropping a pretty penny on delicious food, and STK did just that for us. Thank you STK, AJ, and serving staff, for great time, delicious meals, and for the long lasting impression. We will be back, but next time with more guests!

My friend and I were warmly greeted by Sonny, the manager who checked back on us often to ensure we had a great experience. The Oysters on the halfshell were delicious and fresh. We both had filets that were incredible and paired well with the perfectly grilled asparagus. And wow...the award winning watermelon margarita was beyond belief. Thank you, Sonny and Corwin for excellent customer service and thank you STK for such a great dining experience! I will return and encourage others to visit STK.

The food was delightful, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired, particularly due to a regrettable encounter with an employee named Chine. After providing me with an incorrect total and pocketing $110, Chine feigned ignorance when I requested a receipt. Furthermore, they attempted to deceive the manager by falsely claiming that I had used a $100 coupon, which was not the case.

Another great meal at a great restaurant! The $10 wagyu burger is amazing. Definitely everyone should go and try this burger. It is made with wagyu beef has bacon, avocado, and a fried egg on top. The fries are delicious as well.

Went for lunch during restaurant week. We chose this because of the many options available for RW. Beautiful decor. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food did not disappoint, was professionally presented and was also visually appealing. Well done!

Server was very nice but inattentive. Too much time waiting for service. Steak wasn’t cooked to order. Ordered medium rare but received very rare. Corn pudding was excellent, but creamed spinach was over salted. Burrata appetizer was also excellent.

We were not presented with the SF restaurant menu until we asked for it. The restaurant was not busy and our waiter took a long time. The first time I dined it was very busy and service was terrible. This time around they had no excuses. We were told the bread was fresh out of the oven and it was hard and tasted old. Last time it was very delicious so do not know what happened this time. We did not know the steak came with potatoes and we ordered fries and mashed potato’s and were just overwhelmed with all the potatoes. The filet mignon was not delicious as a steak should be without the need of putting toppings on. They recommend toppings but I like to see how steak tastes without. It was my mom’s bday and they brought the desserts without a candle. We had to ask for one. I will not be coming back again. I’d rather spend my money on places worth it.

I really enjoy STK! It's one of my favorite places to dine. The SF staff is always friendly, the managers are great and the service is usually good! Tonight I had just an average server. Maybe it was an off night for him or maybe I've become accustomed to a specific standard at this location. Maybe it's both. However, the overall visit was still nice and this location is one of my favorites to dine.

Our first time at STK while visiting San Fran was a mix of fabulous scenery and mediocre service. I think it was due to our time, which was more of a late lunch or early dinner. They had a nat issue in which, at one point, a server passed our table with an electronic swatter, and my husband fought to keep them away from his food. The low inattentive vibe from our waiter was very noticeable. I have a feeling it was all due to timing. Being attentive and responsive to customers should always be paramount, not when they are getting ready to leave and paying the bill, and you only have two tables to serve.
