Hostess, Bartenders, Server (Matt), and the Manager were superb! They welcomed our large party . . . that grew by 4 people and they handled it with expertise without skipping a beat. This was the first time trying out the Happy Hour Menu; I can't recommend it highly enough! I selfishly hope that it doesn't become too busy so that we will be able to get a table . . .ha ha ha! Seriously - 10 out of 10; can't wait to go back again this week!

Stk has a reputation for having a great atmosphere and fine dining food. Unfortunately the last two locations I’ve had dinner at was nothing but subpar. Chicago Stk location food was flavorful but service was is always rushed. Waters never refilled but at the end of your bill they have no problem sticking a iPhone In front of you asking for a 28% tip. San Diego location I had high hopes for because it was a different location. I was mistaken very quickly. My partner and I walked in, the hostess sat us down right by the door in front. There were some people at the bar and 6 tables seated. For a glass of water we waited over 10 minutes for water because we asked for bottle instead of tap, to only get tap at the end because they ran out of bottled water. For a 4.5 star and $$$$ rated restaurant it’s concerning that it took a 15 minutes , 1 server and 1 service support to tell us you’re out of water. Mean while I had asked for a cup of hot tea to keep warm,I didn’t get my tea for 15+ minutes. We had seen that happy hour was available but when ready to order our server informed us that the happy hour menu was not available because it was Memorial Day weekend. STK if you’re going to be an upscale restaurant with paper menu…atleast print out menus that are accurate. Moving forward, we ordered two entrees. Lobster linguine and ceviche. Easy enough. During the ordering and waiting our server was not attentive at all. Waters not filled. Even the sprite didn’t have ice because it had been sitting for so long. Thankfully the lobster linguine was very flavorful and we enjoyed it. The salmon and halibut ceviche was not worth the $29 dollars. The ceviche was bland. I asked for lemons and hot sauce, that was forgotten. it wasn’t until he came back to the table to which asking if we needed anything I had to reminded him. His response was “oh shi”. After this experience I can’t and won’t recommend STK Chicago or San Diego locations. Smith and Wollensky next time.

Esperamos una hora y media por nuestros alimentos. Tuvimos que cancelar todo. Impresionante la lentitud de la cocina.

Food was good how ever the service was lacking, I went with my wife for our anniversary and showed up when there was a bunch of empty tables and the server still took forever to take our order. I only ever got my water refilled once during the whole hour and 45 min we were there. No dessert was offered either and I just felt like the staff didn’t care to give good service

It was very pricey, so just be prepared. The steaks were good but I don’t feel like they were better than some other places I’ve been. The service was good, the waiter was very friendly and made a big deal of the birthday at our table and the ambiance was nice. It was a nice special occasion dinner spot

We had the $69 each steak dinner. It was excellent. It was not offered to us, we had to ask for it. The waiter seemed a bit disappointed, which made us feel “cheap”. We did end up spending $300 and tipped well. It would have been nice if it was offered as an option and not to have to ask.

Too loud for a steakhouse and the hostess was rude with a bad attitude. Server was cool but slow at times. They behaved as if it should have been our pleasure that they allowed us into the restaurant instead of the other way around. The prices (drinks and food, drinks especially) are inflated. I visit steakhouses frequently and I understand where things should be priced. First thing is to fix the energy at the door.
