We make a reservation for a party of 6 on the STK NY rooftop. After we were seated around 6:45 PM our Irish friends visiting from Ireland tried to order beer 🍺 to our waiter and his reply was we are not serving beer at this time after 11:00 PM the beer it is not here yet, you guys must order our selection of cocktails for $22.00 dollars and them the STK sales speech begins trying to get us to order a platter of surf and turf for our group of six for $660.00 + tax. $110.00 dollars each. ( No beer on a Fiday night at a Steak restaurant). *Please give us a break* P.S. On the reservation was noted it that a birthday celebration was going on and the restaurant and waiter never adnkolage the birthday🎂 celebration. Over all: That is why we are giving 3 stars 🌟 to the restaurant waiter and STK management team.

i dunno — for over $400 for two people (yes we had drinks) could’ve been better, but the food was alright. i thought the mac & cheese could’ve used butter and salt and my lobster seemed overcooked. the filet mignon was alright. overall 3.5 or 4 out of 5 stars. especially for the value. definitely seemed memorable, the staff was nice, it was clean, i expected the space to be bigger, but it was energetic. i felt the menu left something to be desired, and the rooftop could have seemed less claustrophobic maybe.

Hostess was no where to be found for few minutes. Took long time to get servers attention for water and drinks. Drinks mediocre, rooftop ambiance was not nice at all.... in fact, looked like a dump! Music too loud and prices pretty steep. Food was tasty but overall, I did not see the value here at all.

Sat outside and before it began to sprinkle they came to ask if we wanted to move in. Greatly appreciated the forward thinking, I don't think you always get that. Waitress was fantastic and the burger was one of the best I've had AND it was only $9.99

Not the best experience. Our waiter could not be bothered with us at all. We asked for recommendations and he told us “everything is good”. Food was par. Unfortunately, the menu at the rooftop is much different than the menu in the main restaurant, which we did not know. The food was par at best. Unfortunately, I would not go back again.

Felt super dated. Stk used to be cool and now just feels sad. Food was meh. Ambiance meh. Only saving grace was the New York skyline outside.

We booked outdoor seating but we were sat indoors. After being sat we were then ignored by our server for 15 minutes. We weren’t greeted or even offered water at the very least. Our food arrived before our drinks, with our drinks not arriving until 20 minutes after ordering. Server wasn’t present and the food was underwhelming. Restrooms were gross as well.

The service was fantastic. That goes from the people downstairs all the way to the server upstairs, every single one. The only thing that was a little strange was the color of my porterhouse. It wasn’t brown and red like beef, the color resembled pork more than anything, even though it was a porterhouse. Other than that, everything was great.

The evening did not start well; we were told that they had no room, although we had a reservation. Once we went up to the roof, the service was not well organized. They brought the bottle of wine after we had finished the steaks. I asked for a medium rare ribeye and I got it medium to medium well done. The food was at best mediocre and overpriced. Must important, the place lacks the decore of a serious steakhouse. It looks more like a burger joint. The only saving thing is the view, if you are sited by the window.

Had the best brunch on Saturday morning. $5 mimosas and $10 burger and fries cannot be beat, and it was so delicious. Marquis was a phenomenal server and made our visit so much fun. 10/10 recommend!

Wasn’t our first time. Wish we had a better experience since we were celebrating a milestone together. The server rarely payed us any attention. And on top of that the fire alarm kept going off the entire time we were there every 5 mins.

My bill was $400 on valentines day for 2 people and the food wasnt great, it was ok. I had the dry aged porterhouse and honestly its just a step above a chain steakhouse steak house. The flavor profile was ok but not great and the tenderness I expected from a dry aged steak was absolutely not there. I also expected in to be a fine dining experience but it was loud and I had a hard to hearing the person I was with. With the price I was paying I expected a but more. Their taste in music was good though.

Mini Wagyu burgers are delicious. All steaks are good but skirt is very thick and wasn’t cooked properly.

The service and food were just not worth the price. The general ambiance was nice, but I likely won’t go again, nor would I really recommend it. Especially in a city full of so many amazing restaurants

Had to wait for the table at the bar. No possibility to order something to drink! After first plate we waited very long for the main course! Our reservation was for 7.15 and we ate at 9.30! Thats not acceptable! And we have also to little kids. The meet was also cold, I think they forgot our food somewhere! Positive: they canceled two sides and the view. Our service waa friendly. But Other staff there wer not so friendly, arrogant and stressed! It was very expensive and we could not Enjoy! It was not worth! Sorry, I would not recommend.

The space was a little too tight for my liking. The happy hour menu and the price was elite . I enjoyed bringing able to taste many different dishes , they drinks were on key . Service was fast as well.

Locale freddo con finiture approssimative. Si mangia addossati agli altri senza spazi minimi riscaldati in modo inefficace dalle lampade. Costo elevatissimo rispetto all’esperienza. Leaving negative feedback is not my usual inclination, but our experience at the STK Rooftop Lodge fell short of expectations. Despite our excitement, the evening turned out to be a disappointment. On a Tuesday night, the restaurant was bustling, with just one waiter handling all the tables on the rooftop. We arrived slightly later than our 6:45 reservation, at 7:05, due to holiday traffic. The hostess, to her credit, was accommodating. Once seated, Nick, our waiter, greeted us and took our drink orders, which included special seasonal cocktails. Unfortunately, the cocktails did not live up to their descriptions, and it took a whopping 2 hours to receive them. After an additional 30 minutes, we placed orders for our meals, which were indeed delicious but arrived with our hunger at its peak. Nick, our waiter, was kind but visibly overwhelmed. It's important to note that none of the issues were his fault. I attribute the unpleasant experience to the management. The shortage of staff was evident, a challenge faced by many restaurants in NYC these days. Despite our disappointment, I wouldn't dissuade anyone from visiting STK's. There's potential, but improvements in management and staffing are crucial for a more enjoyable dining experience.
