I’ve been here in the past. It was expensive but still OK. Now it’s outrageously priced. For dining on a terrace, it was too much. Also, even though it’s a steakhouse, I would expect some vegetarian options, but there was very little. Service was not the best. I had to ask the waiter twice to refill my water. For what I paid, I wanted impeccable service! Great drinks though.

I should have taken heed to the previous reviews. Every review that stated the food was severely overpriced and not worth it was absolutely CORRECT. I was searching "rooftop brunches in nyc" and STK and a few others popped up. Furthermore, I should have known something was a bit off when I was able to ake a reso for 5 within 1 hour of our arrival. Most rooftop brunches are booked some days in advance on a Sunday. I was intrigued because I like STK restaurant so I figured the rooftop brunch wouldn't be too far from my liking. I was dead wrong. The menu was basic but again, HORRBILY OVERPRICED. Halibut fish and chips-$66, American bkfst with eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage-$44. The bacon was ridiculously THICK (2 fingers width) I have never in my life seen bacon cut like that. It was unappetizing and untouched by anyone at the table. The pancakes were frozen and packaged pancakes that they warmed up in the microwave. The pancakes were clearly pre-packaged. How do you sleep at night selling pre-packaged pancakes for $44?? I have had fresh from scratch, brown and fluffy pancakes from reputable brunch restaurants in Midtown so STK needs to do better. The blueberry cocktail was the only saving grace. It was refreshing, sweet, and on point for a warm summer day. The rooftop was giving more industrial scenery (expected in meatpacking district). Overall, I honestly would never patronize this establishment again. Being a server/bartender for an array of restaurants in the industry, this was such a disappointment. Pavel our server, did the best he could with what he had.

Music Was too loud. We requested to lower it down then after 3 minutes they increase again the volume. Cibas great. Steak medium well was dry looks like well done.

Overall very disappointing. Food was very lackluster and even for New York overpriced. Server was great but the food took a long time and both steaks we ordered were not as ordered. Also came on a cold plate. You can‘t charge $50 for a steak and present it as careless as this. Music was also too loud, but i guess that is the vibe they are going for

Although the Food was good and our server was very kind and helpful. The host made the beginning of the experience very unappreciated. She was very mean and unsmiley, she announced to us in a very rude way withough even apologizing that we need to wait by the bar because she could not seat us yet although we had a reservation, we got the table 40 mins passed our reservation time. It felt very much a technique to push us to consume a drink at the bar before dinner. I won't return to this place.

They clearly squeeze too many tables in one area to make money. Their servers are great. Their hostesses are moody and it’s extremely loud with mediocre $115 steak I had. I only went for the view which was ignored because we kept getting hit by employees walking aggressively back and forth to tables with no space to walk. I rather spend $500 elsewhere, they are lucky people want to sit on a roof top.
