Stella's Cucina was founded in 2023 by owner Stella Spanu. A four-year project, Stella is excited to bring something fresh and new to the Boulder food scene.

Incorporating authentic Italian cuisine from Chef Filippo Piccini, an eclectic music program and a unique atmosphere and ambiance, Stella's is designed to be a feast for the senses. Conceptualized and built by architect Miguel Quismondo, Stella's is art deco inspired with modern furnishings and decor creating a one-of-a-kind space that teleports you away from Boulder.

STELLA'S announces our Piemonte wine dinner featuring a 5-course tasting menu curated by Chef Filippo Piccini and beautifully paired with wines from Piedmont producer Vite Colte! We are delighted to continue our journey through Italy's regions and excited to invite you to experience a wonderful evening with us! Doors open at 6:00pm Price includes tasting menu, wine pairings, and conversations with Vite Colte's International Ambassador Roberto Cane, Stella's Wine Director Alex Davison, and Chef Filippo Piccini but does not include tax or gratuity. Due to the nature of our tasting menu, we are unable to accommodate vegan, dairy free, or severe allergies. Please contact the restaurant at least 72hrs in advance for dietary accommodations.

A true gem hidden behind an unmarked door. Beautiful, moody interior with outstanding food. The pasta with lamb was as good as any of the best dishes I had on a recent trip to Tuscany and the venison that my daughter ordered was excellent. Our entire table was thrilled with everything from antipasti to mains and way too stuffed to even contemplate dessert.

This is one of the best experiences we’ve had in Boulder- sensational food and amazing NA cocktails. It looked like it would be fun to sit at the bar too. It really made our date night special.

We tried multiple items from antipasti to main dishes. Everything was exquisite. The suggested wine pairing and somelier were excellent. The other drinks were also well crafted and visually pleasing.

From the welcome to the arrival we felt so very well taken care of. It was my first time there and my future daughter-in-law chose it as the place to meet and discuss wedding plans. We couldn't have picked a better spot. It got busy as the evening wore on but I never had trouble hearing her and it was a great energy. The recommendations were wonderful for dinner as were the drinks. A new favorite for me.

A much needed option in Boulder. Great food, service and overall feel. Not cheap but worth it if you are looking for a fine dining experience. The live music is a really nice touch. We'll be back!

A delightful experience. Good value, wonderful personnel, everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel special. They were patient and listened attentively to stories one person shared. Wonderful moms day experience!
