At Steak 48, we serve the finest steaks and high-quality seafood in an intimate and vibrant setting. At Steak 48, we encourage all of our guests to get dressed up for a great experience. In order to maintain an enjoyable environment for all guests, athletic wear, excessively revealing clothing, exposed undergarments will not be permitted. We prefer no printed t-shirts, hats or visors and always appreciate collared shirts or sports coats. Please dress as your elegant selves. You are going to have a great time!

The server brought us the wrong appetizer; when we told her, she got the right one. However, we were charged for both. It's okay if we were charged, but it wasn't our fault. She might not have heard us because of the noise.

This is one of the best most elegant steakhouses in San Diego County. Fist class from the minute you open the the door and walk in. The hostesses and waiters were efficient and friendly. Incredible service and food. The ambiance is beautiful. This is definitely high class. Also, this is a restaurant to dress up for. We celebrated our 10th anniversary here and there were rose petals laid out on the table when we sat down. It is pricey but worth it!

The ambiance was steakhouse-like although quite dark and difficult to read the menu. The noise was moderate with good background tunes. The food was hit and miss. Steak 48 had the best bone-in ribeye I have ever had but the sides were all mostly disappointing. Our table of 9 shared the following sides: mushrooms (decent), creamed spinach (firm and interesting texture), corn brulee (interesting but good take on creamed corn), two different potato dishes (both pedestrian), french fries (crunchy atypical fries), brussel sprouts (average), calamari (hard pass). The waiter mentioned his recommendation of the wedge several times but I would pass and order the caesar salad, which was delicious. There are a lot of better blue cheese wedges at other restaurants. Finally, the main courses... the ribeye was the best piece of meat I have ever had- bar none! Everyone at the table enjoyed their cuts of beef. As for the seafood, we ordered a king crab entree for the table to share and, unfortunately, for $150 it was disappointing- it was fishy, and the texture made it taste far from fresh. I would pass on it even if the market price was a lot less! My dinner mate did not like her scallops but I could not independently verify this. If I were to return, I would definitely eat the bread (tastes like a high-end Pillsbury biscuit fresh from the cylindrical roll), and order the caesar salad with a ribeye steak. I might try another side but most were disappointing especially at such a high-end restaurant. The fine piece of meat would definitely be worth returning for me. Lastly, the service was excellent and very well-organized although I felt we were pressured to order an infinite amount of food that we would in no way be able to finish. (We ended up taking home about 8 or 10 take-home containers). My family will likely return.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Just had the most incredible dining experience at Steak 48 Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, and the food was absolutely divine. Each dish was bursting with flavor. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. 5 stars all the way! 🍽️🥂

Excellent steak dinner and a very enjoyable evening . A little on the pricey side but otherwise a great evening for a special occasion. .Service was outstanding and very knowledgeable about every item offered on their menu.

We heard a lot about restaurant and it lived up to the hype!! Food was excellent but a bit overpriced, as was the wine. But delicious none the less. Service was excellent! Phillip took care of us and was a delight! We had a birthday celebration and was happy we selected Steak 48 for the evening!

We had an amazing experience here for our 6th anniversary. The valet was easy, the table was perfect, our server Jared gave us some of the best service we’ve ever had, and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended.
