At Steak 48, we serve the finest steaks and high-quality seafood in an intimate and vibrant setting. Our diverse menu will satisfy any personal craving, as we serve the best USDA prime steaks, succulent seafood, and shellfish along with inventive and classically inspired side dishes and appetizers. Also enjoy classic cocktails and an extensive award-winning wine list.

At Steak 48, we encourage all of our guests to get dressed up for a great experience. In order to maintain an enjoyable environment for all guests, athletic wear, excessively revealing clothing, exposed undergarments will not be permitted. We prefer no printed t-shirts, hats or visors and always appreciate collared shirts or sports coats. Please dress as your elegant selves. You are going to have a great time!

It was my husband birthday and his and my daughter’s first time here. Marshall was our waiter tonight he was very informative on the wine selection and also the recommendation for dinner. Absolutely amazing Customer Service and-amazing experience. By far worth the 45 minute drive. Everyone was so friendly the minute we arrived and sat down. I absolutely recommend it for a special occasions or just date night with friends or love ones.

This was the best dining experience we have had in awhile! Our server Alex was amazing! Great recommendations and really made our experience here enjoyable. We got the yellowtail hamachi app. Delicious. We got a ribeye and filet mignon with truffle butter. The steaks were cooked to perfection very tasty and melted in your mouth! Would absolutely be back!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my uncles 83rd birthday. Food was wonderful, service was impeccable, and ambiance was great. Truly a place to celebrate any of life’s milestones. We will be back! Thank you.

Marcus was amazing! Great service recommendations. Highly recommend going early to grab a drink at the bar to fully appreciate Steak 48. The bread rolls, hamachi, king crab legs, beet salad, bone in rib eye, scallops, corn crème brûlée, mushrooms, and scalloped potatoes were all so good. And warm vanilla cake for dessert. This was my second time dining here and I’ll definitely be back!

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE FROM OUR SERVER MIRANDA. She knows her wine, her menu and the cuisine she represents at Stk48. Where we sat was excellent with a view of the seafood bar and kitchen and as well as a view of the bar. The room is excellent on par with some of the most exceptional steak houses in Las Vegas resorts if not better.

Our first time there and we had an Awesome experience. Made reservations for our wedding Anniversary. Best Ribeye steak we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious! Service was phenomenal and the ambience was great! Highly recommend. We plan on returning in the near future.

Our server, Dan, was amazing and his knowledge of the menu and wine menu was impressive and extremely valuable. He made wonderful suggestions that were delicious and made for an outstanding meal and experience.

We had a table of eight our bill after tip was $1,600.00. The music and general restaurant noise was so loud we could not hear each other from across the table, but what bothered me most was their corkage policy. If they sell the wine, they will not open yours, no big deal, if they do not sell your wine, they charge an $85.00 fee regardless of how much you spend. It gets worse. I get a call the following day from a hostess asking about our experience, and I voiced my disappointment. Shortly after I received a call from Mathew, a manager. He said he would call me back. 1 week later, no call!

Taylor is among our favorites, always taking great care of any group I bring in. Matt is one of the best GM’s in the business and the entire staff is top notch. The cuisine is always amazing in quality, flavors, and presentation- highly recommend the seafood tower!

Steak 48 is the absolute best Steak House, actually that is to limiting it is absolutely the best Restaurant in the San Diego area. Everything from the moment you enter from the food to the service is first class all the way. Do yourself a favor and get there as soon as you can!

out group of 4 had outstanding service, some of the best in San Deigo. The food was all very good except for one issue. All of the steak and fish was under cooked. One of our guests sent his back for a re fire. My steak, ordered med rare was rare and only slightly warm the center. The fish was also undercooked. We paid top $ for this food and there should not have been an issue. Other then that, the steaks were very well seasoned and had excellent flavor. All the sides and starters were also excellent. One other issue is, you cant bring your own wine in. Hopefully they will change that.

Beautifully designed restaurant. There are a few different areas of the restaurant so it would be fun to sit in different sections each time you go. The food was amazing, expensive, but amazing. Alex, our waiter, was great too! We'll be back.

Not sure why we got seated in the back of restaurant with absolutely no ambience what so ever. The dining room bar area had plenty of tables available. The shrimp at $11 per shrimp is out right gouging!

Great overall experience! The tables are little nooks so you have privacy and it’s not loud. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious.

We went there last night for a 25th birthday celebration. The staff was outstanding and helpful with great suggestions for dinner, the food was excellent and the dessert was amazing. We look our dining experience and would recommend going for just a quick dinner or to celebrate.

Another wonderful evening with good food & attentive, professional service by Veronica & supporting stuff. Room music a little loud at first but was quickly adjusted down when requested. Restaurant was very full already at 5:30! The appetizers are simply to die for! Well done!

What a great Dinner. It was our 1st time there and it was fantastic. We were dining for our 27th anniversary and were not disappointed. It started with the greeting at the front desk when we checked in. We were welcomed and greeted with a Happy Anniversary! We were escorted to our table through the big restaurant. There were lots of visual insights in regard to the innerworkings of the restaurant on our path. The cold bar, the pastry kitchen, Etc..... Once seated or waiter Slobo introduced himself. He took the time to go over the menu and was very honest with suggestions and pointed out some dining favorites. Slobo and his crew were very attentive and did an outstanding job. The music soundtrack in the restaurant was excellent. The food, drink and service were unmatched. We also had an anniversary card on the table from the restaurant. We dine out frequently and this experience was in the top 5 of all time. Our daughter and son in law have dined there a handful of times and urged us to go as it is one of their favorites. We can't wait to go back again. To top it all off, I just received a call from Brisa following up on our experience. Thank you for making it a memorable night for our special occasion.

I’ve dined at steak 48 in Del Mar now a few times and I must say, each time it’s exceptionally great.. I was always a big fan of the steak houses in south SD but to this date nothing compares to Steak 48 I thank all the staff for the memorable experiences and I encourage others to dine here also!

We had the extraordinary privilege of getting Armand as our server for the evening. His smile arrived at our table before the rest of him got there. His knowledge of the menu, and his enthusiasm for the dinner experience we were about to receive was palpable. His food and beverage recommendations were spot on. His care and attention to every detail of our meal guaranteed that we will be repeat guests. Thank you Armand for taking us to a whole new level of excellence!
