One dish was cold -lasagne - one was very spicy and some shellfish had not opened fully plus had a bad taste - cioppino plus was lacking seasoning and toasted bread was burnt and steak was fatty. Food was much much better when I visited a couple of years ago.

Unfortunately I was really looking forward to my ribeye, came back raw twice…supposed to be medium. The rest of the party was done eating by the time I got my well done piece of meat. So they never got the right temperature kept trying to salvage the wrong piece of meat three times and ended up being it well done. I’ve never eaten a well done premium piece of meat in my life Everyone else in the party enjoyed their salads and croissants. I was the unlucky one I ate cold eggs my daughter didn’t want but atleast they didn’t charge me for it smh lol really that’s the favor you’re going to do?? Not charge me, and that’s it? In my opinion the poorly executed meat should’ve been tossed, start over and get it right

Very good at accommodating gluten free. No dessert though. But most pasta dishes available.

We have a lot of options downtown, but we always come back to Stanza for their consistency and incredible quality. We have never ordered a dish we didn’t love, and their service is attentive without being intrusive. The environment is clean and modern, making it a versatile choice anywhere from an intimate date night, to family dinners, to business lunches. We hope that Stanza is here to stay!

Pretty subpar. Everything was something you’d expect from a very mid level place. Service was lackluster and poor timing for rounding on the table. Not worth it.

Service was great. Food was good, but one item we wanted on the menu, Kobe Tartar in Bone Marrow was out and I think the Antipasto board could have offered a couple of more different cheeses. Other than that, it was a good time.

Loved the venue Waitress was “meh” Food was not good! Had three different entrees, and one salad They try too hard to be unique. Two items were so over seasoned that you could not taste the subtle flavors of all the stuff they added to the dish. Drank a lot of water. Bought mints after to get the seasoning out of my mouth This is from people who love fine food and LOVE seasoning These dishes were dust over done in an attempt to be unique and fancy The pasta dish that sold itself on butternut squash - a ‘dash’ of squash as a crap load of all the other ‘toppings’ and you could not enjoy the squash (what little there was) nor the 9grain tagliatelle The crab and shrimp stuffed pasta - the stuffed pasta was so over seasoned my mouth hurt physically! And could not enjoy the citrus gastrique nor any of the mounds of toppings. Did not like and will never go back Too bad cause I Loved the building

We had another great dinner at Stanza tonight. The service was excellent and the manager made us feel so welcome! The halibut was amazing!

Food was delicious…we had the roasted beet salad, the sweet potato gnocchi , lasagne and bolognese. Everything was beautiful and delicious and Lyndsey was an amazing server . Can’t wait to go back

Outstanding food and service. First day of the season on the patio and with the fireplace and space heater it was very comfortable and the ambience was great.

Beautiful contemporary restaurant. Menu provided a variety of traditional Italian dishes with a few unique concepts. The food was amazing! We had an issue where the kitchen forgot our appetizer however the restaurant manager and server was great. They apologized and provided the appetizer complimentary and mad sure the rest of our experience was great. Highly recommend this restaurant as a place to try when in SLC

There was a little confusion when we were sat at out table as to who our server was. The table sat right before us had 2 visits from their server before we were greeted. Our server mentioned that she was unaware we were her table and did her best to smooth the mix up out. The food was delicious but for the cost compared to the portion size I feel like the was a little high. All in all a good experience.

First visit. Great manager greeted us and seated us quickly. Open room with lots of windows. Sat in a booth. It felt private without feeling closed in. Menu varied. Small plates as well as entrees. Portions just right. Prices spot on. My friend got the wagu beef. It was cooked to perfection. I got the crab and ricotta ravioli. The arugula salad was delicious. Desserts were well portioned. The gelato was divine. Such a nice evening.

We went there for our ‘late’ Valentine’s dinner. It was wonderful. The food was outstanding. The only issue we had was one of our dishes was much spicier than anticipated and there was no indication on the menu that it was spicy. But, the wine was wonderful and Tanner was an excellent server.

The food was 10/10, Lauren our sever was awesome, the manager on Thursday the 15th was excellent with greeting us, and overall the experience was great. I would go back!

We went for the valentine’s day chefs menu. The first course was one oyster with no lemon or anything to dress it with. Second course was pleasant. Third course I got overcooked duck and my partner got the seared halibut. The halibut was still frozen in the middle and the gentleman that took her plate only asked if she wanted another plate. No apology or offer to accommodate. The food is far from being worth the price, low quality and poor service. Do not eat here.

The food was incredible but we were very disappointed in the service. We attended on Valentines with a five-course pre fixe menu. We felt incredibly rushed - they got through all five courses and handed us the bill within 55 minutes. I wouldn’t expect to linger for hours on a busy night, but would like to spend more than 1 hour at a restaurant over a five-course, $350 meal.

Stanza is a “go to” restaurant when you need a perfect dine out experience. And on a special occasions like “Valentines Day” it is always a winner. Great food, presentation is always creative and service is impeccable. Most special event are “prix fixe” but allow you to chose between two items to match your mood and tastes. On regular dining days, the options are unlimited with rich pastas and savory seafood, beef and veal. If you haven’t tried them, you’re in for a very pleasant surprise!

Most food was overcooked. Service was poor. Wasn’t worth the money. Which makes me sad because we were really looking forward to the meal.
