attached to the hilton inn- and what you expect of hotel dining food, attempting higher class, food was overpriced and neither steak nor burger came out to correct temp, and then came back out wrong the second time. Drinks were good

You will be disappointed. This is part of HOLIDAY INN! It costs $360 for 4 people to have their brunch buffet, 1 alcoholic spike coffee, and 3 regular black coffee. The brunch buffet which they charge $65/person for (does not include any beverages not even nonalcoholic like coffee)- it’s the same scrambled eggs from a carton you get when you stay at holiday inn. Supposedly the increased cost for this special brunch was “decadent pastries”, “artisanal” meats and cheeses, and a carving station. They thawed out some frozen pastries and desserts and some Costco sliced meats and cheeses and thought that was worth it. I was excited about the “hot honey chicken”…it was frozen chicken tenders. The sign on one of the buffet tables said the breakfast mon-Fri is $16/person, that makes sense. We all agreed this food quality was worth maybe $15-$25/person. But you can’t put out stouffers Mac & cheese and charge $400. This was the last brunch of a celebratory weekend. We had dinner at Boca Friday night (amazing!), brunch sat at the Shire (great), dinner Saturday night at MRBL (perfection). Saying this to show it wasn’t about the money, we went in expecting to pay $65/person (reserved through open table) because the description made this brunch buffet sound awesome and like the perfect way to wrap up the weekend and also celebrate my sisters first Mother’s Day. I have a feeling this will be a running family joke eventually- that time I spent almost $400 for breakfast at Holiday Inn.

Food delicious, varied menu, more elegant room than expected. Our server Maurice was attentive without being intrusive. Very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. I love when we asked for boxes to take home leftovers that Maurice took our plates away and brought the food back completely boxed for us. So much nicer than expecting the diners to do it ourselves at the table! Kept us on track to get out the door in time for a lay we were heading to.

Our waitress Rachel was amazing and there was another server Nick that was super friendly, also. Food was amazing and came out quick. Will certainly be back!!

Spoon & Cellar is underrated neighborhood dinning destination, perhaps because it is located in a mid-level hotel chain. Try their Ahi tuna appetizer, celery root mash potatoes, or juicy cheeseburger and great fries for as fine a comfort food meal as you can get. Service was very attentive, perfect. The dining room is rather basic but has very has comfortable seating. They have a full bar and a well picked wine list. S&C is a great place for a last minute, easy access, good meal.

Really enjoyed! Will be back! The service was excellent. The fig & goat cheese salad with chicken was well prepared and it was a good portion size. Told the waitstaff that we were under a time restriction in order to make a show at Taft Theatre. They were very accomodating!

Our food was very good great service. Ordered ghost pepper chicken get sauces on side ghost pepper sauce is hot. Also the chipotle mayo our server suggested was delicious only opportunity was Cole slaw it was dry and jalapeños should be chopped. Definitely will be back

Great dinner before an Aronoff show. Wonderful service. Really good food and drinks. A lesser known place but perfect for what we were looking for!

Pork chop was delicious as was the Brussel sprouts. Chocolate cheesecake also YUM. Enjoyed both the blueberry mojito and pear margarita. Service was great, fast and helpful deciding.

The food was outstanding but the service was so disorganized and we had 3 people serving us at the same time asking the same question. We have a severe nut allergy and told the waiter of this. When we brought out the food he said “these have extra nuts” as a joke. Moments later came back and told us the dessert options which all had nuts.

Restaurant was inside our hotel so it was very convenient. I felt the prices were high compared to the size of the entrees. They offer bread service but it’s $4, which they did not tell us in advance.

The food was not bad, but not great either. Every single thing we ate was overly salty. Still tasted good, but it was too much for some of the people I was eating with. Our server was not overly friendly. We were there celebrating a birthday, which was noted on the reservation, without anyone acknowledging it and saying happy birthday. Again, not bad at all, but we won't be back.

This is the holiday inn’s attached restaurant. It’s exactly what you expect a hotel restaurant to be. It’s trying really hard to be fancy but in reality it’s just okay. Wouldn’t be anxious to go back

This place is a little gem. Easy to get a reservation. Nice place for dinner before the show at the Aronoff. We had great service (Maurice), good food (my friend who got the gnocchi was particularly happy). Is my second time there so I obviously like it! Only not-great things A. the Prickly Pear Margarita is sweet, tastes like Maraschino cherries. No salt. Can't recommend to anyone who likes margaritas. B. the roasted red pepper sauce that comes with the chicken is pretty salty. I'd skip that next time. They seem like they would do that; Maurice was pretty accommodating. The Empress drink was good, kind of cosmopolitan-y but more tart than sweet. good place, and very handy for the area!

This is actually located in the Holiday Inn, and while it feels more upscale than most Holiday Inn restaurants, it's...a hotel restaurant. The ceilings are very high and the tables are pretty close together, so it's pretty loud. I'm glad we tried it but don't plan to go back.

Mad a reservation for brunch at 11 AM on a Sunday just before going to the theatre. Received confirmation and several notifications to remind me of my table only to go there and it was CLOSED and they don’t open until 4 PM on a Sunday. The one person working was apologetic but we walked away after taking great lengths to get there on a very cold day (parked near theatre then walked).I’m assuming the restaurant had been open between Wednesday when I made the reservation and Sunday the day I made the reservation for. They could have contacted us! Or better yet update their hours on the app to reflect the actual time. The staff member was confused bc she said another couple had just done the same thing. She was very seeet to encourage us to come back but I definitely won’t! .

Service was very good but I was unaware it was attached to Holiday Inn. My chicken on my salad was great but there wasn’t much else in the salad and dressing was runny. Overall it was good but we paid hotel prices for a good meal versus paying a more reasonable price.

The salmon dinner was ridiculous for the price. Decent size piece of salmon, but the spaghetti squash and spinach sides were so minuscule, it was ridiculous.
