attached to the hilton inn- and what you expect of hotel dining food, attempting higher class, food was overpriced and neither steak nor burger came out to correct temp, and then came back out wrong the second time. Drinks were good

Food was awful. French onion soup was overly salty, chicken foot salad was dry, and ghost chicken only taste was heat.

Good array of colorful and savory dishes in the Mother’s Day brunch. Food was hot and well prepared. Service was friendly but slow and underwhelming for the price point.

You will be disappointed. This is part of HOLIDAY INN! It costs $360 for 4 people to have their brunch buffet, 1 alcoholic spike coffee, and 3 regular black coffee. The brunch buffet which they charge $65/person for (does not include any beverages not even nonalcoholic like coffee)- it’s the same scrambled eggs from a carton you get when you stay at holiday inn. Supposedly the increased cost for this special brunch was “decadent pastries”, “artisanal” meats and cheeses, and a carving station. They thawed out some frozen pastries and desserts and some Costco sliced meats and cheeses and thought that was worth it. I was excited about the “hot honey chicken”…it was frozen chicken tenders. The sign on one of the buffet tables said the breakfast mon-Fri is $16/person, that makes sense. We all agreed this food quality was worth maybe $15-$25/person. But you can’t put out stouffers Mac & cheese and charge $400. This was the last brunch of a celebratory weekend. We had dinner at Boca Friday night (amazing!), brunch sat at the Shire (great), dinner Saturday night at MRBL (perfection). Saying this to show it wasn’t about the money, we went in expecting to pay $65/person (reserved through open table) because the description made this brunch buffet sound awesome and like the perfect way to wrap up the weekend and also celebrate my sisters first Mother’s Day. I have a feeling this will be a running family joke eventually- that time I spent almost $400 for breakfast at Holiday Inn.

Food delicious, varied menu, more elegant room than expected. Our server Maurice was attentive without being intrusive. Very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. I love when we asked for boxes to take home leftovers that Maurice took our plates away and brought the food back completely boxed for us. So much nicer than expecting the diners to do it ourselves at the table! Kept us on track to get out the door in time for a lay we were heading to.

Our waitress Rachel was amazing and there was another server Nick that was super friendly, also. Food was amazing and came out quick. Will certainly be back!!

Spoon & Cellar is underrated neighborhood dinning destination, perhaps because it is located in a mid-level hotel chain. Try their Ahi tuna appetizer, celery root mash potatoes, or juicy cheeseburger and great fries for as fine a comfort food meal as you can get. Service was very attentive, perfect. The dining room is rather basic but has very has comfortable seating. They have a full bar and a well picked wine list. S&C is a great place for a last minute, easy access, good meal.

Really enjoyed! Will be back! The service was excellent. The fig & goat cheese salad with chicken was well prepared and it was a good portion size. Told the waitstaff that we were under a time restriction in order to make a show at Taft Theatre. They were very accomodating!

Our food was very good great service. Ordered ghost pepper chicken get sauces on side ghost pepper sauce is hot. Also the chipotle mayo our server suggested was delicious only opportunity was Cole slaw it was dry and jalapeños should be chopped. Definitely will be back
