Nice decor, although high ceiling and hard surfaces made for a noisy experience. Service was very good with main server and other wait staff really quick and attentive. We started with the Cauliflower Wings, which were delicious! The buffalo sauce was yummy spicy! My husband ordered the beef bourguignon and while he enjoyed it, we were disappointed to learn that it was made from Impossible Meat. In a restaurant of this quality and price, we expected it to be created in-house rather than a store-bought brand we could have at home. My Forbidden Summer dish was really delicious. The tofu was a tad dry, but the flavorful sauce, which I mixed around the bowl, helped. Black rice and chunky mango chutney were delicious! We each had dessert. I had the chocolate brownie cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Sooo good! My husband had the carrot cake, which was huge and delicious. Loved the different textures and the clever way the plate was decorated with a large orange circle of sauce that resembled carrot slice. The bill came to about $110, before tip, for one starter, two entreés, 2 desserts, 2 cups of tea, no alcohol. Overall, a pleasant experience. We will visit again!

This place couldn't be more spectacular! From the vibe to the service, everything is top notch to accompany the *incredible* food they offer. Perhaps my favorite restaurant ever?

Excellent food and service. Whether vegan or an omnivore restaurant, Spirit Elephant is one of the best restaurants in the Chicagoland area.

I am not a vegetarian but really enjoyed this restaurant. Buffalo cauliflower wings and black bean burger were flavorful and substantial.

We came to celebrate our daughters birthday. She’s wanted to try this place for about a year now. We were NOT disappointed! Everything was phenomenal. I think our family of 7 tried almost everything on the menu. Can’t wait to return.

I brought my mom here who lives out of town and is a vegan. The server was great, extremely helpful with explaining items on the menu. The food was excellent. Great atmosphere, love all the plants and overall, a fantastic experience! Im not vegan or vegetarian, and would definitely come back on my own. Highly recommend!
