Spinning Bones is a California rotisserie restaurant that specializes in roasted meats with bold flavors. The focus of the menu is slow roasted meats: poultry, pork and beef, rotating on spits over high heat, and basting in their own natural juices. The rest of the menu is comprised of shareable appetizers, vegetarian side dishes, and healthier salads with vegan dressings. The principle of the menu is straight-forward: quality products that are prepared minimally and cooked thoughtfully. Spinning Bones is a brunch and dinner spot for Alameda people by Alameda people. It is a casual neighborhood restaurant open 6 days-a-week for sit down dining, take-out, and large party catering. Spinning Bones strives to be a common area for the residents of the East Bay to come together and engage in conversation and comradery over great food and drink.

We continue to come here every 1-2 weeks because the food and service are absolutely PHENOMENAL! Last night we got the prime rib, cabbage salad, and chicken sando. DELICIOUS!

Warm and cozy but a bit noisy! Food was superb but the chicken plate was a bit too large for a my small female tummy! It would be great if this hot plate could enlarge the seating availability to afford more arm and leg room!!! I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family and I give it the four thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍. Oh and you must order the corn fritter appetizer! They were delicious 🤤 Best, Linda P. Alameda

Arrived at 6pm and ordered 2 items off their Secret menu - beef skewers and crab noodles. Beef was tender, medium rare and tasty. Crab noodles were a bit too soggy and lackluster in taste. Was hoping more for crab with dry garlic noodles so will try for it next time. Portions were small enough so added a chicken salad and a butter mochi dessert. For 2 persons that was $73 plus tax and tip. Make sure to make reservations if you come after 6:30. Sometimes food can be hit or miss but we will continue to come back. Service was sparce and had to always flag down our server to get anything. Their instagram is always hyped up and wish the food and service meets that expectation.

We ate outside so we didn’t have the normal spinning bones experience of being close to the cooking action. The food was outstanding as usual and the servers were friendly and enthusiastic

Great food, nice vibe. If you're following a low carb diet this is the place for you! Meat is the star of the show but they also have delicious vegetarian sides. The kimchi brussels sprouts were fantastic. I will definitely be back.

It is Restaurant Week and Spinning Bones has it together! The breakfast burrito was insane!!! So yummy, my husband wint have to eat for days!

Another PHENOMENAL experience! It’s Alameda Restaurant week so busier than usual but we got in at 6:30 Sat and were out by 7:10. Ordered the burger and chick sando- both have been on our minds for a while but we always get Trips Triple and it felt like we were cheating but man was it worth it! DELICIOUS! Kind of wish we got the Crab Stew/Cioppino because it’s looked amazing but we have no regrets with our sandwiches and the awesome Brussels sprouts.
