The restaurant was noisy and the service was mediocre. Food was just OK. They ran out of plantains which are my favorite and they didn't have my son's first choice either. I will not go back.

The food is always delicious! We had the stew chicken—super tender, jerk lamb chops-my favorite, oxtail dip-another favorite, and the seafood dip. I keep finding reasons to come here to eat. lol So good!

First There Wasn't A lot Of Parking Available, We Go Inside And The Hostess Was In The Back Talking...We stood There For A Good 10 mins Before Walking Off To Find Someone To Seat Us... The Tables Were Very Close To Each Other To The Point That We Heard The Couple Next To Us Whole Conversation..The Food Was Not Good At All To Me... I Ordered The Jerk Chicken Eggrolls And Jerk Chicken With Cabbage,Rice And Peas... The Eggrolls Had A Bitter Burnt Taste And The Food Was Not Seasoned At All! I wasn't expecting it to be so loud. Like so loud you have to yell to the person next to you. My husband and I were there for dinner, but this definitely would've been a better vibe for brunch with the girls. There was hookah, but they had really good ventilation and the fans going. Although it was cool, the smoke or smell of hookah wasn't bothersome. Food and service were good.

Our server was great, she made sure we were comfortable. Her personality was warm. Food was good but could have been better especially for the oxtail. Is the Kingston Jerk, jerk chicken? Or oven jerk chicken? Because I was so confused. The rum punch was so good, I will exaggerate on that, and also the pudding.

The service was poor and slow. I ordered the oxtails and they were luke warm. The over all taste of the food was decent but nothing to rave about. The best thing of the night were the Jerk chicken eggrolls

I recently attended a birthday party at Spice House (Panola Rd.), and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the interior appeared decent, the shortcomings began with the drink selection lacking essential ingredients for proper cocktails. Moving on to the main course, the presentation left much to be desired as plastic cutlery was provided for what should have been a higher-end dining experience. The steak, ordered medium well, arrived improperly cooked even after a remake attempt, culminating in a burnt piece slathered in steak sauce. Disappointment peaked when the manager refused to take back the unsatisfactory dish, citing "house rules," despite the hefty bill of over $200. While a discount was offered, it couldn't erase the frustration of such subpar service. This experience highlights the importance of consistency and customer service, regardless of the establishment's background. There's a clear need for improvement to ensure patrons receive the quality they deserve, especially during milestone celebrations like birthdays.

It was my birthday dinner I can definitely say I was not expecting the experience I got. I so thought it was a restaurant with a Caribbean vibe n it knowing that it was more so a club. The jerk chicken egg roles were good. The ox tails were ok. The music was just a little too loud to have any conversation with my guest.

I had a reservation here for my birthday and when I called in to confirm it I was told that they were at full capacity because a sorority came in and I would not be serviced even though I have a reservation. I would not recommend coming here especially if you want to make a reservation for a celebration you're having. They won't honor your reservation.

Out waitress didn't explain the BRUNCH SPECIALS or didn't mention we have MIMOSA for a set price. Also the Oxtail eggrolls was out at 1pm and you all open at 12 noon. Please fix that!

The Jerk chicken egg rolls were very good. My friend had the curry chicken and she thouhgt it was great. I had the pasta with chicken. It was just ok. I will give them another try.

I have so much fun at Spice House everytime! Everything is on point, from the food to the music variety (Afro beats, hip-hop, trap, R&B & dancehall). The vibes are fun & lit & the owner is so cool. He interacts with us & is involved in the business! I love that for our community! :)

I loved the vibe in this place. It was definitely a great vibe and I really enjoyed myself and so did my friends. We met good peoples in there that we didn't even know and we all ended up partying together. We already talking about coming back soon. The foods, drinks, music and the Dj was amazing. Service was great and friendly, it was definitely a vibe in there and we are definitely coming back and telling more of our friends and family about this place.

We absolutely love it there! Be aware that since it’s a hot spot parking is a bit difficult to find where you may have to circle around a few times first and you may have to park in lots further away from the restaurant. With knowing that u'd want to be early to your reservation, but it did not negatively impact the experience only because the food is bomb, there’s nothing like being in a happy room with majority black people enjoying ourselves singing, dancing, tasting drinks, as well as the servers/staff being polite and friendly.

Unfortunately their was a mixup with the restaurant management. When we got there, it was closed. About 20 mins laterr a member of the kitchen staff showed up and he was confused. He thought they opened at 5:30 but was called in to come immediately. Shortly thereafter, a house Mgr or concierge showed and was very apologetic. She explained the mixup and offered us free drinks while we waited. I must say the young man in the kitchen was amazing. He had a got seafood out to us within 30 mins, and our order completed pretty quickly, considering their were 3 of us, and we all ordered something different. He had no help when we ordered. The remaining staff started coming in,along with other customers and things went well after that. Kudos to the chef and the excellent food. Thumbs down to the management that made this awful blunder on Christmas day.

Food was wonderful, drinks were tasty. The bar service was a little slow but that could be due to us only having part of our party present at the start of our reservation. Our server was friendly and helped me navigate the menu as I have severe food allergies. I didn’t enjoy the automatic 18% gratuity, but that seems to be the norm these days. Overall, love this gem in the middle of Lithonia. We truly need more spots like this.

Well we were not aware of that. It was a club like dine in setting. The music was extremely louder than the norm. We could not hear the server the server couldn’t hear us, and we couldn’t hear each other if we wanted to Converse, but overall the place has amazing cook, so whoever the chef is excellent, and if you want to attend a place of extreme excitement and music wise, it’s the place to be

They tried to seat my party at a table directly in front of the door. I think this is a strange place to sit guests due to weather interference, and generally who wants to be by the front door ¿? Our server Niko was very nice though! We tried the oxtail egg rolls, and a few drinks. The drinks were strong but not flavorful. The egg rolls don’t come with much meat, the veggies overpower the flavor. The sauce pairing was nice but wasn’t a brown oxtail sauce you might expect. All sales are final, so either way you get what you get. No mods or special requests. I’m comfortable not going back

My cousin and I got the seafood dip (they didn't have the oxtail dip) and oxtail eggrolls. The seafood dip was basic but the chips are wonton chips, so that kind of elevated it. The eggrolls came with a sauce and together it was SO GOOD OMG. I got the jerk chicken entree and my cousin got the oxtail entree. The jerk chicken was good but the rice needed to sit in the pot a lil longer as it was too firm (not necessarily hard). I tasted my cousin's oxtail and it wasn't as tender as I would like. Also, the food was not hot when it came out... The taste of the food is good though. One thing I hated was that the waiter asked if we were ready for to go boxes mid way through us eating...... like ma'am, I know you see me eating tf. And by that time, we were like 1 hr into our reservation so...... idk what that was about. Went on a Friday night around 6:30 so the music wasn't as loud but as we were leaving, they had turned the music up loud af.

Very great place to relax and chill with family and friends, the atmosphere was electric, the host/waitress were phenonminal. I was able to reserve a table online and we did not have to wait once we arrived that was great, I was there to celebrate my Lady's birthday with some friends and we had an awesome time. The food was dynamic, I think I got full off the appetizers and then my Entree was like WOW thank you SPICE HOUSE for having us.

The inside decor is surprising compared to the outside curb appeal. They had brunch on Labor Day. The food was good The service and ambience was surprising as well.

I definitely enjoyed my experience but the music was a bit loud. We also sat somewhat close to the dj booth so maybe that’s why. The wait was a little long for the food… but the food was amazing. I definitely enjoyed it. The drinks were good and strong. I will definitely be going back again and to other locations.

My review is only about the service. My party of 5 left without being served. We had a reservation. We were not greeted after standing for about 5 minutes. We were the only guests in the restaurant. The restaurant didn’t appear to be in a condition to receive guests. Several staff members were decorating but none approached us. Music was too loud to speak in a normal voice. A staff member finally pointed to a table. We sat for about 7 minutes without menus, silverware, or beverage orders. We decided to leave but still had to wait for someone to appear.
