Chef, Juan Diego, who has had extensive culinary experience from Madrid, London, HongKong, and Mexico had the idea of combining global flavors & techniques that come together. He now wields his creativity at Space Cowboy making his experiences and techniques work together for this new modern American concept. What’s great restaurant! We loved all the suggestions Jared B made. Even ordered a second plate of Space Balls. Loved the concept and all the craft cocktails. Make sure you make a reservation.

Roger is an amazing server and the hostess was so hard working and made a super busy night work for everyone. Food was incredible, too.

Space balls are great but all for all tuna. Risotto was tasty and only really liked the steak on the skewer entree

Enjoyed it. The delivery bots were fun and the server was friendly. Food was great. Space Balls, Hamachi, Charred Broccolini, Cowgirl Cut, and Shishito Peppers were stand outs.

Cool place! Food and drink are delivered via robots named after the Minions. 😂. Super cool kitsch! The food is tapas style and delicious. But even for tapas the portions for the meat dishes were quite small with a larger plate price tag. The veggies and hummus were good sized. We’ll go back!

Fun dining experience with the little robot cars that bring your drinks and food to your table. I’ve been twice and the food is delicious. Favorite menu items: Sticky rice topped with salmon, tuna, and beef Corn ribs Sliders Braised short ribs Seafood Risotto

The Burrata came with potato chips that were burnt and limp like they'd been soaked in water after cooking. The cowgirl ribeye for $32 was a grand total of 7 slivers of meat. The octopus dish was so over seasoned and overcooked that it actually didn't even taste like octopus. Hamachi was good but the presentation of the dish was basically just 4 types of colored oils that almost overpowered the taste of the fish. French fries and sliders were good even though the sliders came on buns double the size of the actual meat. The torched rice crisps were pretty solid. Tuna space balls were delicious. The drinks were pretty good but nothing to write home about. The concept is cool but the robots and tracks the run on look like the cheapest version they could find and that they could break down at any moment. The ambiance was nice but the food didn't make me or anyone at my table even slightly fulfilled for $130 a person.

Overall a really cool experience but the food was kinda bland and the service was honestly very bad. Server came by 3 times during a pretty long visit. We asked for a straw and half a hour went by and it never came and I had to go up to the bar myself to ask for it.

It was a mixed bag. They seem to be having issues with AC so they had big blower fans and one of them was aimed right at our table which made it pretty uncomfortable. Heavy cooking smoke was coming from the open kitchen into our area. Service was good. Food was appealing and tasted good.

Innovative place because robots serve you some meals, others are served by waiters. It's hot inside the restaurant and the food is good but not spectacular. The price is high for what they serve you.

We had a wonderful experience. The food was a unique and super fun culinary experience. Our server, Jared, was very knowledgeable and attentive. Our kids loved the robots. Highly recommend for those visiting Austin :)

We really enjoyed our experience at space cowboy. I had two other couples join me, and my husband we ate in the food was very delicious. I will say the service was not as great, but wasn’t too bad. Waiter was very short and kind of over the night.

Amazing place to get some unique drinks and eats. Parking maybe a little tight but it might be beneficial to rideshare. It will definitely be worth it and don't forget to make your reservations.

We had a fabulous experience at Space Cowboy. A very unique touch with robot "spaceships" on a track passing by each table to deliver some of your order. It was pretty neat! The food was great, all small plates and shareable so we were able to experience a lot of the menu because of this. Everything we ordered was excellent. We will definitely be returning for future date nights.

Great location and decorum! A quit unique atmosphere in weird Austin. Food is creative and very filling. Cocktails are well balanced. Robots are fun.

Space Cowboy was AMAZING! The service was impeccable. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with pointing out must order food items that did not disappoint. This has become one of my must return to restaurants and any visiting family will be taken here.
