The Hostess was Racist toward us. If it had not been for the Manager we would still be waiting for a table even though we had a reservation.

This was for Mother's Day dinner so the menu was pre-decided but hold on, only 1st and 2nd course, limited choices too. The service was dry and extremely slow, the food was passable but I expected much better. The macaroons at the end of the meal for the Mother looked and tasted stale amd looked like store brand. Very disappointing. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

Had a reservation for Mother’s Day at 11:45. We were seated at 11:50. Our waitress took our order at about noon. At 12:30 we hadn’t seen our waitress one time. We found someone else working there and asked why we haven’t received our appetizers. About 15 minutes later we finally received appetizers. Then another 30 minutes later we received our food. We were not finished until 1:45. It did not look over busy and people were standing around. I believe that our waitress forgot to put in our order. Instead of admitting she blamed it on Mother’s Day. Meanwhile people seated after us received meals way before us. Good and ambiance were great.

We did brunch here last year and we decided to do so again because it was a positive experience and the location is convenient, however, this year the experience was completely different. From the hostess to our server there was a lack of friendliness. We also had to wait a very long time for our food and in that time or server never came to check on us or provide us bread. As I looked around others were frustrated too by the lack of service and the delay in receiving their food. There was a set price for very limited menu with no healthy options. 20% tip was already included in the final bill. Basic communication and a smile go a long way in the service industry. Will not be going back.

The food was 10 out of 10. The waiter was a little quirky. Perhaps a little socially awkward, but still respectful. It was a weird encounter. But I fully enjoyed my Mother's Day dinner with my children. I visited the one in Buckhead and I wanted to try this one. #Chefskiss

The flavor was good. However the scallops were overcooked. The manager gave us extra 2 scallops. The issue was that kitchen knew that food was overcooked and they plated it anyway splitting an overcooked scallops between my and my husband plate. Additionally when dinner arrived, dirty appetizers plate was not removed- I had to remove it myself

Overall our experience was not good. I think it is important to note because this South City Kitchen is in the hotel it has a limited menu. However I would expect good service no matter what and the service was not great. The server barely came to the table and was never around. Additionally my meal was not good. I had the pork chop but it was not cooked well. My party had the red fish and that was good.

Brunch was delicious and inventive with favorites like eggs Benedict and traditional breakfast made even more tremendous with additions such as smoked Gouda or crispy ham. Server was knowledgeable and attentive though the restaurant was very busy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

The food is always amazing. I LOVE the corn muffins, they are southern perfection! My go to restaurant time and time again. Wilson is also a great server and appreciate his attention to detail and warm personality.
