Taylor was a great waitress, provided good recommendations and was aware of when to give space and when to interrupt. The hostess was also great because we had a last second change and they quickly accommodated us.

Great place to spend Mother's Day. It is a popular spot, and was busy when we arrived. So even though we had a reservation, we still needed to wait maybe 10 minutes before being seated. There were some other reservations in the lobby also waiting, but that wasn't too bad. It just proves that its a place to be. The food was excellent, all of it. We had a prix fixe menu for Mother's Day, that only came to $65 a person (which covered appetizer, main course, and dessert) definitely well worth the price. And I enjoyed the music playlist that was on. Overall, it was a great experience

I brought my mom in from Dallas for Mother’s Day and it was amazing!! We had such a good time and our waitress, Aisha was phenomenal!!

Always a favorite, it didnt disappoint on a warm summer Tuesday. I was a bit worried about being in the covered seating due to the heat, but it was glorious and the view of Peachtree was delightful. Great food and service, and I appreciate the consistency. Always a top choice.

Haven’t been in a while, but SCK consistently delivers great service and great food in a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the covered outdoor patio to enjoy the best of both worlds.

I’m really tired of experiencing the imperial attitude of the people who work the hostess stand at this restaurant. As for the food, the pimento cheeseburger was very dry. The chicken sandwiches were fine and the fried green tomatoes are always solid. Other items at our table were uninspired. I don’t understand why I turn left to go here instead of turning right and going to Bistro Niko.

Fried chicken entree was delicious. Fried green tomatoes were good. Friends enjoyed the selections also: Mussels, Green Lentils w/mushrooms, and Trout w/pears. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Lunch-time, restaurant was light, staff excellent and friendly, well-stocked bar, and good menu. Was exposing my Italian brother from Tuscany to Southern food which is one reason we selected South City. I think because modern day chefs "feel this need" to modify cuisine with their own touch (my opinion,) I did not think the Fried Green Tomatoes or She Crab Soup tasted the same as when I was growing up over in Charleston, SC, or South Georgia. Regardless, they were very good. All three entrés were excellent - fried chicken, shrimp and grits and the chef salad with roasted chicken. I strongly recommend South City and will visit again.

We both ordered salads with added chicken. My chicken was dry and bland. It was grilled but not flavorful. I was thoroughly disappointed and would not recommend this chicken.

Unfortunately we were seated at a table with intense direct sunlight that was very uncomfortable. It was the only table with that bad of a sun issue. It was incredibly hot and too bright to even comfortable sit. My kids all kept their black Napkins over their heads it was so bad. And the heat made it uncomfortable to eat. Service was slow which didn’t help. Food was good. But experience was lacking. It was a lot of money to spend to have our kids be miserable the whole time

Our server was overwhelmed… She dropped the ball on the back end, which is the check. We literally waited 35 minutes to get my credit card back from when I gave it to her. A little embarrassing.

The southern hospitality was great at this restaurant! The food was also very tasty, we got the fried green tomatoes and Carolina crab rice. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. Would definitely stop in again next time I’m visiting Atlanta.

We were seated upstairs where it was pretty quiet. The hostess, server, and other staff were enthusiastic and polite and gave great recommendations. Our party of four enjoyed all that we ordered, especially the fired chicken. If they open a branch in Sacramento where we are from, we would be regulars!

Food was awesome!! Price is fair and the place is worth the price. I brought my kids (younger than 10 years old) and waitress was super friendly. Kids menu portion is big, like for an adult. Price for kids meal is low and that is great.
