Welcome to Soule to Soule (pronounced Soul to Soul), an intimate soul food tapas restaurant where you create the atmosphere to soulfully connect through savory dishes, a mocktail BYOB experience, and genuine conversations. As the sister restaurant to Soulé Chicago we’re incorporating some of our crowd favorites while introducing new additions to the menu.

Every detail within Soule to Soule was envisioned with you in mind while checking in with the people we love, or engaging in a genuine connection with someone special for the first time. Soule to Soule is all about creating an ambiance that’s top tier as our souls align through good vibes only.

The fried catfish was great. Also, the Mac cheese and the greens were delicious. I will going back soon.

All the food was excellent. nice size portions. The service is a opportunity for improvement. Not understanding why a party of three who arrived was seated 15 minutes after our party was served their dinner before us. Our party of six the entrees was served almost ten minutes apart, three, one and then two.

The service was great, the food was great. Arnold Palmers were delicious and I was able to take it to go. The time and date we went was good because nobody was in there really. Food came out within 15-20 min of ordering and it was a great experience.

The service was a bit slow plus she never checked on us once we had our entrées. Both of my sides were not drained just too much juice (greens and yams).

The fried fish and grits were not good. The fish was good, but the grits were too oily to enjoy. The MAC was not good at all, it tasted like box MAC.

The food was tasty. The restaurant was really nice and clean. But the server we had was a young man with braids. We felt rushed when asking menus questions. He also seemed annoyed with us from the time he seated us. His customer service was a 3 out of 10.

The food was amazing. Enjoyed everything we ate. We ordered the fried catfish and chicken which both came with two sides. Creamed corn, greens, Mac and cheese, and sweet potatoes. $10 BYOB for 2. SO good!! The only negative was that we were the only two people when we came at 6:30 pm which seemed odd but quickly forgot after tasting the food.

They were out of more items than they had available. The portions were tiny for the price. They charged a $22 “large party” fee at the end of the meal that was not listed on the menu or anywhere else. And by large party, there were 3 people. The food tastes good but for skimpy portions, mediocre service, and literally emptied out cigars on the floor I will never return and strongly encourage others not too. Support good business. This isn’t good.

Food really good. Came out hot and the presentation was very well done. Disappointed that there was not Alcohol option. Would suggest that they develop mocktail options to round out the experience. Was somewhat surprised that a group of three would automatically be charged a 20% service charge- not the standard for a party that small. Menu not huge but that is a good thing. Wanted to order everything on it. Overall a really good experience. I would recommend!

I went to Soulé to Soule 2/18 for a Galentine dinner and it was some of the worse if not the worst service and experience I've got from any restaurant. My reservation was at 8:30p.m. and we were set immediately which was really nice but we were not properly greeted by our server. After waiting about 20 minutes the server came to our table and all she asked is if we were ready to order. There was a party there as well and it was as if none of the other 5 tables mattered because of the group. They were also very loud and disruptive. Once our order was taken we waited 40 minutes for drinks that we had to ask for and that were trash plus an additional 15-20 minutes on our appetizer(BBQ jerk wings). After finishing the appetizer we waited an additional 30 minutes on our entrées because per the server "they were dropping fresh chicken." I order lamb chops, greens, and sweet potatoes and my friend ordered the honey drizzle chicken, greens, and sweet potatoes. When we received our food we were both given Mac and cheese instead of sweet potatoes, my friend is lactose might I add. She was kind enough to get us sweet potatoes but the food just was not it. Two of my lamb chops were cooked medium while the other was well done also, what ever seasoning they used for them is very sweet. You could taste the vanilla extract in the sweet potates but they lacked brown sugar; the greens were the only flavorful item but we had no meat what so ever in them, and the chicken definitely could have used more of the hot honey because there was hardly any, and the breading was salty. We were so disappointed and ready to go we didn't even bother complaining about the food. Our server did remove the drinks and appetizer which we were greatful for but it didn't come close to correcting the issue. I've wanted to try Soulé for a few years now and am so disappointed with my experience, I would not recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This restaurant is taking reservations and they are closed. I showed up for my reservation for a birthday dinner and the restaurant was closed.

A small intimate place for 1st dates and couples. The decor is for talking and getting to know each other. On the tables are boxes that have notes for conversation starters which is intriguing. The food is of HIGH QUALITY with the chefs own interpretation. Fried green tomatoes,salmon pasta with shrimp,jerked shrimp and chicken and sweet potato fries were all excellent and flavorful. However,the seating is for younger people,there are no regular tables but more like coffee tables. Overall,a very enjoyable,memorable experience that will definitely duplicated again in the very near future. Again big kudos to the chef and staff. A job well done

Was quiet because i was the only customer. A few months ago, my party was the only customer, except that one pickup order occurred each time. Food is good! Love new look of interior - good use of small space. But as a small intimate bar, the restaurant must serve liquor. Even if it's limited to a few top shelf liquors plus wine and beer. The setup is for happy hour or stop by for great bites while you drink. This location is closer to me than the new restaurant on west side. Will try it in January. Sure, i will love it. Was at Chicago Ave location when it opened a few years ago. Have recommended restaurant to others for years. So, happy that owner is doing so well. See Soule writeups in several publications. Awesome!

It was an okay experience. Food was good. Service took a bit long. Would go back here to hang with friends in a lounge type setting. Good for first dates.

Intimate, funky, sleek ambience/decor. Friendly, accommodating, polite server. Chef/owner Brigette was very gracious and hospitable. Nouveau soulfood cuisine offering innovative small bites and delectable entrees. Generous flavourful portions! Spotless, art deco washrooms. What a captivating playlist!! We loved this gem.

My boyfriend and I had a chance to visit Soule to Soule for date night and I just say it was amazing! The food was fantastic and the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. We will certainly visit you guys again very soon!

Would have loved to eat here. Made reservations for 5pm, showed up and no one was in the restaurant except the janitor, chairs were still on top of tables. You should not offer reservations for 5pm if you will not be open at that time. Absolute waste of time. Such a disappointment.
