Food was delicious. The tuna sampler and wagyu gyoza were my favorites. Also try the shitake and king trumpet mushrooms. Sake and cocktails wee also fantastic.

The food was next-level. Our server was very helpful making suggestions based on our preferences and sense of adventure. It was a special Mother’s Day lunch, and Mom and both of our Sons LOVED it. Pricey but very good.

Food great . Overpriced though. Server attentive. What was Awful was the way food came out at totally different intervals so that nobody got their food to enjoy at the same time.

Asked for a high top table on when making the reservation. Upon arriving at 7:15, we were given the option to dine at a regular table (wasn’t given that option originally) and high top. Just ask to be seated In whatever was easier. We were seated next to a party of 5 that came in AFTER us. They were served before us. We were there until 7:40 without a waiter and without water. We left. Not sure if we will go back. Very disappointed!

Food was amazing as always. Premium fatty bluefin sashimi was top quality in texture, taste and presentation Our server Vanessa was fantastic, anticipating and addressing all our needs ! Always a favorite in Austin!

The food, service, and drinks are amazing! The actual location is small and extremely loud and can barely hear the conversation your having. Besides that highly recommended the place.

Wonderful food and service. We celebrated my son’s birthday and had a great time. The happy hour specials are a very good deal. We loved the chili hamachi and the land & sea roll was fantastic. The waiter brought my son a dessert for his birthday!

Tried it out but didn’t fall in love with this sushi. Quality was 8/10 with some items not being great. We sat at sushi counter as we typically love experience watching and spending time there. Some of the fish was being placed on top of each other at the Sashimi station. Don’t love that they didn’t focus on separation and keeping quality. Most of the flavor profile was overpowering and not as much highlighting the quality of the product. Plating was fantastic but wish all tied together a little better. Service struggled at times and timing of sushi was very long in between so know that. That question of uchi or here it’s uchi all day.

This is hands down the best Sushi in town. The Omakase is my very favorite. The service is impeccable. Can’t wait to go again!

I always loved this place but the omalase is getting a bit boring. Great dish as individual pieces but the flavor felt repetitive.

We had an amazing experience at Soto for my partners birthday! All of the food was delicious, you have to try the wagyu gyoza, uni pasta, and honey truffle roll!Our waiter Son N had such a great vibe and was very informative about everything on the menu. He brought out a slice of cheesecake with a candle as I requested and threw in a small pour of their desert sake which was incredible. My partner and I agreed this was one of our best dining experiences ever!

Delicious sushi with very good service. Drinks are pretty pricey. Staff answered questions, made good recommendations and provided with a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back again.

My date and I (fine woman btw), chose to sit at the bar. Fellas, smart move as our bartender was adept at choosing drinks and food with minimal guidance (recommended at great restaurants) while knowing when and how to interject. Allowed us to put our primary focus on one another…

The food was OK but the ambience definitely did not match the photos and the service was absolutely awful. The waiter was kind of rude and condescending and only came to us once in a while we were really trying to flag him down for most of our meal. Bill came out to a little over $200 which is not really bad for sushi but considering how bad the service was, I would recommend just go to Uchi or somewhere else no reason to pay top dollar for mediocre sushi, and bad service honestly, if we just had a better waiter, it probably wouldn’t have been as bad as it was, but it just ruined the entire meal

Soto provides an elegant dining experience with creative dishes. They do a great job of preparing each bite with a lot of flavor and a lot of style. We always enjoy eating here and will definitely be back.

Quite possibly the best sushi we’ve had yet. The lobster tempura is amazing as well as the Soto 2.0 roll and Torched Toro! Must visit if you’re in Austin
