Sortino's Italian Kitchen is a new age red sauce restaurant where old-school Italian cuisine meets the modern age. Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings the Kalahari a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in downtown Sandusky, Ohio.

Family trip 4 adults 3 kids under 6. Reserved table for 7 pm and were seated right away. Our server Anthony was extremely courteous and friendly. He made wonderful suggestions and my son in law said it was the best service he's head. Our 3 little ones had a good time and he interacted with the kids too. Our meals were filling, the cocktails were amazing and the desserts and limoncello were perfect endings.

It's great to have the restaurant in the resort. Our Server Andrea was amazing, attentive and skilled. However the food was just ok. The menu had very few options that were low carb and even less that were gluten free. Then what we ordered turned out to be very different than what was on the menu. The food had good flavor but my salmon was very over cooked, and the steak came out with a huge plate of pasta (not listed on menu at all). The gelato is top notch, but the cheesecake is best skipped.

Our waiter was amazing! He was so nice and made my daughters birthday special by bringing out a cupcake with a candle! The food overall was okay, huge portion sizes.

Big portions for dollar amount but the chicken parm and marsala were both dry and over cooked. Will be eating pizza next time as that’s pretty hard to mess up.

Everything was really amazing. The food was great, the service was great, and it was not very loud at all. Totally recommend Sortino’s!

The portions were way too large. Most people there were on vacation and had limited uses for take-home boxes. The prices were on the high side, but probably could be lowered if the portions were more reasonably sized.
