Absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING! I am vegan and from Rome and super proud of our traditional dishes that most of the time are all but vegan. But this place omg! I couldn’t even taste the difference between “the original” and the vegan versions! Absolutely recommended, I’m still in awe

Lovely service, good food and wine. But the prices are too high, especially given the very basic decor and ambiance. Shave 25-30% off the bill and I’d go back - but not at those prices, unfortunately.

Really tasty Roman food with excellent service despite the restaurant being full while we were there. Doesn't matter if you are vegan or not - you will enjoy eating here 😊

Was really disappointed to see the bill included 10% service charge, but then felt pressure from staff to add a tip on top. It was confusing and deceptive, the payment device defaulted to automatically charging another tip charge.... I had to redo twice to avoid paying it. The French couple paying next to us were confused and ended up paying 10% extra tip on top of the bill that already included 10% service charge. This really angered us. For this reason we'll not visit again. Food was average.

Food was for the most part lovely except all mains are drowned in cheese. Not a massive fan, but tiramisu was absolutely lovely, service was great and ambience made the night overall pleasant

Fantastic food and great service. Always a firm favourite when we visit Edinburgh, and for good reason. Big thanks to the staff for a wonderful evening, and for fitting us in earlier than our booking time.

Loved the food - it was gorgeous. It’s such a small place, it’s hard to avoid overhearing people at other tables (if they’re particularly loud), but other than that it was fantastic.

Ate some amazing pasta and pizza here and honestly wouldn’t have been able to tell that it was vegan. Would really recommend it to anyone for delicious Italian food whether you’re vegan or not.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful meal at Sora Lella for Valentine’s Day. We arrived and were enthused by the options on both the regular menu and a specific Valentines menu. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and will be back.

The food was amazing. I am not a vegan but had 3 courses with my vegetarian cousin. All courses were delicious but the dessert of cheesecakes and vanilla ice cream was the highlight. Will definitely return

I had the quattro formaggio vegan pizza and was really disappointing! I had big expectations. Couldn't stand the smell or taste. Maybe wasn't the best option. The waitress and place were nice

This is the best vegan italian restaurant I've been. We were visiting Edimburgh for the weekend, we tried this place on Saturday and was so good that we repeat on Sunday. Pizza boscaiola, pasta carbonara and gnocchi alla sorrentia were absolutelly stunning!

Lovely meal! I had the sausage and truffle gnocchi and my wife had the creamy truffle spaghetti and we were very impressed. Good selection of gluten free pizza and pasta. We were gifted free shots on the house for my birthday. Staff were great and the atmosphere was lovely, would return!

Have eaten at Sora Lella a few times now and I’m still blown away by the incredible food and attentive service. My favourite restaurant in the whole of Edinburgh. Vegan, authentic Italian food and LGBTQ+ friendly - what’s not to love!
