Situé à Brentwood, le Sor Tino succède à l'ascension des restaurants Ago de Los Angeles, Miami et Las Vegas appartenant au propriétaire et restaurateur Agostino Sciandri. Il « amène l'Italie à vos portes », avec un menu proposant des plats florentins traditionnels. We’ve lived a mile from Sor Tino for years and just found this absolute neighborhood gem. Nick and the whole staff were unbelieavbly welcoming and attentive, food great as well. We will be back many times.

The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food-seafood risotto, boar ragu, artichoke and bolognese pastas for mains. Caesar salad just fair and a very small portion. Lovely patio. Service was good. Professional and friendly waiter. We shall return.

Lovely outdoor patio (with heating lamps so definitely not cold). Great and friendly service. HELPFUL TIP: The grilled octopus is the best I've ever had (at least that night it was)-- succulent, flavorful, divine! I've had a lot of octopus and this was bar-none the best (again, that night... I have no idea how it will be in subsequent nights, but definitely worth the gamble). It was served with a ton of perfectly cooked, crisp thin green beans, potatoes, tomatoes.

Typically enjoyable night at Sor Tino. Delicious meals: prosciutto & burrata, Dover sole with sautéed spinach, panna cotta…all very special. Our server was Nicky, who always provides the friendliest and most professional service. Very easy to recommend!

Read previous reviews and thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately it was not a place I will visit again. The place was empty and had zero ambiance. When we asked the waiter about the chicken dish… he said it was “good but dry”. How are you serving dry chicken?? We also had pasta, which was ok. The place needs a lot of help on all fronts. Waiter went home in the middle of our dinner and walked out with his backpack on letting us know he’s leaving…. Try some place else.

If you like the over rich American version of Italian food imagined be Evan Funke-this is not for you. If you want something that tastes like what you had at a lovely off -the -tourist -circuit restaurant in Italy, then this is for you. Warm friendly, unrushed service, a menu with first courses and pastas different from those found over and over at other LA restaurants , delicious pizzas , simple but well prepared and delicious entrees. Good sized, well priced wine list. A place I return to regularly.
