At Song (by Kin Kao), we offer a seasonal food menu paired with a natural wines and signature cocktails. We choose the best seasonal local ingredients whenever possible. At its core, our flavours are authentic Thai from all over Thailand.

After opening for less than a year, we were honoured with Michelin Guide's prestigious BIB GOURMAND for exceptional value and quality.

Our beautiful space is designed by renown local architects Scott & Scott Architects. Our bright room is dimmed before dinner service to keep the attention on our guests and the food for the evening. Expect spicy Thai, fresh daily seafood and good vibes all night long at Song.

Our online reservation is limited to 6 guests; should you require 7+, please call/email us once you have booked a table for 4 and we will change on our end should we have the space to accommodate. OUR POLICY FOR GROUPS OF 5 OR MORE IS SUBJECT TO AUTO-GRATUITY (20%).

Start your evening off early with a beverage of your choice along with a snack/starter! Nightly form 5 PM to 6 PM, patrons can enjoy our happy hour wine by the glass/bottle, new cocktails, discounted draft beer/cider along with discounted snacks and starters (food Happy Hour is available on Mondays/Wednesdays and Thursdays). We will hand select wines to be offered by the glass and bottle. Our vast inventory of natural wines are hand selected each evening for you to enjoy by our wine director. If you feel like a bottle for the table, bottles will be up to 30% off during this time.

I love Kin Kao on Commercial Drive! Had many great experiences there. Song on Broadway food was average and the atmosphere felt like a fast food place, but the price are highend restaurants priced.

We tried the set menu and it was amazing food and experience at a very reasonable price for what you get! Lots of food, which can sometimes be a problem with a set menu. We took leftovers home and left (over) full! I would definitely go again.

We had an an incredible culinary experience at Song. Presentation was beautiful and the flavors of each dish were delicate yet complex. My husband and I enjoyed our meal from start to finish. It was the perfect spot to have my birthday dinner!

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time and are eager to return. The food and drinks are consistently high-quality. The service was excellent, and we love the atmosphere! We highly recommend it for a date night or a girls' night out.

We had the set menu, and really enjoyed the flavour pairings. I’ve been a fan of Kin Kao on Commercial Dr for a long time; this was my first time at Song, and girl, will I return?! Hell yeah! I’ll go back and try every item on the menu. We also had a few cocktails, of which the tamarind whiskey sour stood out — a little on the sweeter side, but still a pretty good balance between tart and sweet. I’ll drink one again!

My 2 best friends and I had such a nice dinner at Song! The food was delicious and our server James had impeccible vibes. We can’t wait to come back and try the tasting menu! 10/10

Our table ordered the chef’s tasting menu which was very good and the best value. It was almost too much food. Could easily have eliminated one of the dishes and would have been more than satiated. One thing that we did not like was being rushed. Our food came out of the kitchen far too quickly to enjoy and the table was too small to accommodate. It unfortunately ruined the experience. Wine list is also very meager - unfortunately.

My favourite Thai restaurant in YVR! Authentic Thai flavours with different dishes to typical Thai restaurants. Super friendly staff, laid back dining room with the main emphasis on the food and drinks.

One of the top restaurants in North America. There is no way I ever visit Vancouver and don't eat here at least once. Top quality food and service with innovative menu items and twists on old classics.

Less than mediocre food for high prices. Dishes were not balanced, and all had same flavour profile. Need more flavour variety and more balance in the dishes

The food was incredible but service was not great. Our server did not acknowledge us (a party of 2) for 20+ minutes, until we had to get up and ask if we could be helped. Table beside us (6 people) came after us and had all received cocktails & appies before we even had water. We had been looking forward to eating her for months, and the food did live up to our expectations and the duck curry was phenomenal… but service did take from the overall experience

Amazing food with fantastic flavours. Service was weak. Our starters arrived before our cocktails! Food was a bit over priced in my opinion but so are most restaurants these days!

The bartender was amazing but our server was just dull. She wanted to just take the order and get done with it. Felt extremely underwhelming for such a highly rated restaurant. Extremely disappointed!

From food to service to ambiance and everything in between, Song by Kin Kao takes Thai cuisine and elevates it to another level. While new experiences are discovered every time we visit, old staple favorites are refreshed with layers of surprising complexity. Must try if you've never been, must come back to explore even more.

Had the song set tasting menu and every dish presented was really excellent. The menu consists of fresh ingredients and tasty, fun renditions of Thai food. The service was also all round excellent, and their pad tai is a must have!!

The food is amazing! Highly recommend Shrimp Toast , Pomelo Salad and Duck Confit Curry but loved all the dishes we tried. Service is top notch. Seats at the bar; the bartender made amazing drinks and made our experience really fantastic. The crew and the chefs are the best.
