Best brunch spot for those with an eye for aesthetics and “just girls” dates! Unfortunately, not GF friendly but we should have checked before making reservations. Overall, food was good.

Extremely bad service! Avoid this place, there are a bunch of way better brunch restaurants (with better service in the area). I booked a reservation last night to dine outside in the morning. When I booked, there is an empty slot for each 15 minute for both inside and outside dining. After we ordered, someone poured some extremely stinky drainage water down the street. Without any apology, they said we should still sit outside since the other person will clean shortly(we have no idea who is the other person). We asked to sit inside, they refused us said that inside is fully booked (although we saw 10 empty tables inside). We still want to sit inside and they said they're just going to cancel our order if we don't sit outside. Really??? AVOID THIS PLACR! DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE

Hi Yani S./Yi Xu, We have received your feedback on multiple platforms and hope it's okay to reply the same way. We are disappointed to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Regarding the reservation, we were fully booked on the day you visited, and we had to wait for them. Please understand that this is not personal. We appreciate you booking the reservation the night before, and we hope you understand that the names on the system are still there because we were waiting for those reservations to show up. Regarding the water issue outside, there is a system that needs to be fixed by the city of San Mateo County (we are part of their city). We have filed a complaint about it, and we hope the city will take care of it soon.

Food and drinks were great, service was less that par. After our food was dropped off waitress never came back to check on us. And we had to waive someone down three times to pay our bill

Cute ambience & experience for those looking for that Instagram inspiration. Wish there was more space like the Menlo Park location, however the service was great & food yumm!

Nice ambiance, great customer service. However, the quality of food and overall price was less than ideal. Worth visiting once or twice, but there may be better brunch options nearby.

Very cute place, but that’s it. You have to pay in advance when you book the afternoon tea, but they automatically include a 20% gratuity, which means you get ignored once you sit down. The food was premade which means they do not accommodate for food intolerances and the sandwich bread was either soggy or dried out. The desserts were overly sweet. And you don’t get refills on tea, let alone water. I wasn’t just disappointed, I was embarrassed that I brought my mom and sister here.

Overall the staff was extremely nice. However, we were annoyed that we weren’t informed we’d be at the table next to the Photo Booth. It’s a very small restaurant and when people were taking pictures they were directly next to me on the table. If we had known about this we would have looked elsewhere where. It was very annoying being concerned about someone bumping into me and my food the whole time.

Beautiful restaurant. Great drinks. Food is pretty but lacking in taste. This is really a IG spot and not really a good dining experience.

Pretty atmosphere and food was good but my choices might have been off… I had ricotta pancakes with omelette and bacon ! Bacon was very tasty My son and husband’s choices were better ! They picked food from Chef’x Specials and all was tasty with pretty presentation! Our server was excellent! Thank you Pop! The lavender spritzer was delicate and refreshing ! The ricotta pancakes were ok but not as fluffy as advertised! All in all a nice experience for mother’s Day except were a bit rushed by the hostess who told us we have the table for 1 h and 15 min ! I made reservations 2 months ago and we flew from NY ! Possibly we did not need a time frame to enjoy Mother’s Day brunch! But I understand!
