Beautiful restaurant and there was a pianist but the food services were terrible. I ordered a medium filet mignon. My first steak was well done, 20 minutes later my 2nd steak was sliced and well done. I thought maybe the chef couldn’t cook steaks so I switched to salmon. 20 minutes later I was served a raw salmon. At this moment I left . I’d been there over an hour and was offered a complimentary Prosecco. I did manage to eat some of the Caesar but it tasted strange and couldn’t finish (maybe too vinegary) and I ordered the scallop app but you have to dig through a sea of breadcrumbs to get to the mini scallops. It is a GORGEOUS establishment; but the food service really tanked my Chicago evening.

Thank you for the BEST burrata I've ever had! We Loved the food, cocktails, vibe, and open patio. The restaurant is Connected to the Viceroy Hotel on the Gold Coast. I'll be back!

Extremely long wait times for service. My assumption is that there was an event in the hotel that was backing up the kitchen, because it took a very long time. We were seated at 12:20 and did not get food until 1:40. I was disappointed with the wait. The food and drinks were high quality.

Had a Mother’s Day brunch here. Food was cold, and the advertised brunch was really just a breakfast. Incredibly expensive for the lack of variety of food and food quality . When I brought up to the manager that the food was cold, all I got was “I’m sorry the food was cold..” How a restaurant manager handles a poor experience from a customer says a lot about standards, culture, and whether the establishment is customer -focused.

A very nice restaurant. Friendly staff. The most important for me is the food. The food was very nice presented and laid out of the plates. It looked delicious! I had a burrata and then the salmon. In my opinion the strawberries where too sweet like that I ate burrata with fruit spread and it was more like a dessert. I think it would have been tastier with fresh strawberries. The salmon and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the sauce was to spicy and took over everything so I couldn't feel the taste of anything else. I'm from Europe and I think that this restaurant has a more European style and food than I've met here before. Maybe it's just me, but I hope you improve the dishes and highlights the tastes from the natural ingredients.

I try to every restaurant the best review I can. It is a tough business. And I have reviewed many places. This will be a one-off. The food was good. Nothing spectacular: our opinion is for the $25 waygu burger +$4 for maple bacon, which both of us ordered. The service was satisfactory. The major complaint is the WINE. I searched locally for price by the bottle for two of the wines: They ask a preposterous $20 for a glass of Joel Gott Monterey chardonnay that is available by the bottle for $12.99. (That is the most expensive one I could find. Have I erred on that?) Or the Cloudline Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley for $18. A very ice wine but it can be had by the bottle locally for $18.99. I cannot fathom what they are thinking with that pricing. Overall, this was far below what I expect for an $80 dinner, including tip and tax.
